.............cos I am bored of it now!!!

I have felt drained and tired now for over a week, no 'oomph', no 'spark', just bored and tired.

so..I reckon all this is completely unreasonable......do you agree???

wink

could it be the lack of sunshine. Why don't you try a sunbed, an exercise session and a course of multi-vitamins.

Psychomum5 Wed 09-Jul-08 18:38:19

you are quite right....I have lasped with my multi vits and could probably also benefit from some St.Johns wort too!

I take them feel bright, and then laspe, and then forget entirely until I fell like this and someone tells me to againblush.

still unreasonable thowink

Strip off, down to your bra and knickers, go outside and run around in the rain, jump in all the puddles, and spalsh in the mud grin

You will feel better then grin

shatteredmumsrus Wed 09-Jul-08 18:51:08

Hope you live round here - could do with cheering up. im pissed off with everything too

Psychomum5 Wed 09-Jul-08 19:48:03

shoshe.....I am not at all sure that the neighbours would appreciate me doing that...

altho, they would probably not notice seeing as a few years back, during a HUGE thunderstorm, at about 10pm, I suddenly remembered the open sunroof in the car......now, it was hot and humid and I was naked, and still ran out to close up said car!shockblush.

oooooh........the memory still makes me shudder, and yet, no comments from the neighbours, so I either terrified them, or I am not overly memorablehmm.

shatteredmum.....yup.....utterly pissed off with the world!<sigh>

now in bed tho

Shoshe Wed 09-Jul-08 19:53:13

Have you got Choc, wine, and silence as well as bed grin

I have, well not the wine (dont drink)grin

keevamum Wed 09-Jul-08 19:56:46

I feel like this too the weather is not helping is it?

mamabea Wed 09-Jul-08 19:57:03

oh God yes, the tiredness is awful.

Last night DD1 up from 11pm-1.30am, woke DD2 up who then was awake and moaning till 3.30am. DD2 then up 5.30am.

I am appaling to everyone all the time.

Psychomum5 Wed 09-Jul-08 19:59:22

I have wine.

silence nope.....DH has joined me and is now sat watching topgear!!!

and the kiddies are all up here too, and keep checking up on mehmm.

serves me right really, I should have been meaner earlier!!!!wink

Shoshe Wed 09-Jul-08 20:10:54

Keevamum, I have to ask is your DD Keeva, I have a mindee called Keva, I had never heard of it before, It is beautiful, as is mindee. grin

rookiemater Wed 09-Jul-08 20:11:57

I feel your pain.

DS aged 2 has recently started waking up every hour on the hour, from 12 - 5. I have posted in Behaviour about it hoping for some help and the only person who responded has the same problem as well. ( Rookiemater subtly tries to elicit some more interest and responses to her original thread)

At least DH has had the decency to leave the living room to play his Civilization game in the study. It's so bad we are back to separate bedrooms again to get some sleep.

HeadFairy Wed 09-Jul-08 20:14:58

I've had a shitty virus for a week, 5 days of a temperature over 100 and headache and backache for nearly a week now. The tiredness is killing me. I feel your pain too

on the upside..... I've lost nearly a stone in three weeks from a combination of extreme busy-ness and being ill. Rock on!

sazzerbear Wed 09-Jul-08 20:20:21

This weather sucks, I felt like I had cabin fever at the weekend, it wasn't worth going anywhere as you get soaked and have to contend with hoardes of kids wherever you go! A little wine now and again takes the "edge" off the day I find, you then fall asleep without lying there fretting whether a) ds/dd is going to wake up, b) running through what you are going to cook everyone the next day or c) what mundane domestic chores need attending to! What about a girls night away from the kids, maybe you need some "me" time?

keevamum Wed 09-Jul-08 21:18:39

Shoshe yes DD1 is Keeva. Gaelic name meaning loveliness. Thankyou for the compliment and yes she is lovely, most of the time.smile

Psychomum5 Thu 10-Jul-08 09:10:21

well......slept funny (kept waking almost hourly, and not because of the children eitherhmm), so woke with a headache....again..<sigh>

still, just been invited for coffee around a friend's house in a hour, so that cheered me a bit, plus we go away in just over a week too, so that is to be packed and planned for (but the packing I enjoy as t'is for good reasonwink)..

'me-time' much much needed......not sure when, but tis good to aks DH about. he is off for a night in august (as of a phonecall last night!), so I am okay to ask.....wooohooo.

as long as the tiredness holds off today and the sun comes out for more than a teasing peek, then I should feel a little better<<fingers crossed>>.

<<<<now, just got to get some ooomph to move and tidy the breakfast things.....where is my oomph??>>>>

Lemontart Thu 10-Jul-08 09:14:42

If you find any of that mysterious Ooomph, please post a little of it as I could do with some too!
House a tip, youngest still in jammies, work to be done, housework to be done, shopping to get, blah de blah and here I am with a cold cuppa, trawling the net for anything other than physical work!
I feel your pain too

Psychomum5 Thu 10-Jul-08 09:18:52

I have just started a thread asking for all the Mnetters to kindly look for it for mewink

here is hoping, and I am sure there will be some to spare!

Lemontart Thu 10-Jul-08 09:20:21

LOL

Shoshe Thu 10-Jul-08 09:35:35

psych, I have started walking at 5.45 in the morning, you would think it would make me more tired, but no I feel sooooooo much better, I couldnt do it in the ebvening to knackered and the girl I go go with has kids, so we go before her DH goes to work, only 30 mins a bout mile and a half at a fast walk, gets us fit, gives us some me time and puts my head together. grin

keevamum Thu 10-Jul-08 12:34:06

I am going to try that at 7 for half an hour too. If I leave it till my DH gets in I am too knackered and agree with you it does give you more energy rather than less!

Psychomum5 Thu 10-Jul-08 13:04:05

hoshe....seriously....you get up that early??shock<thud>

I am not sure I would be so disciplined as to get up that early......my bed is my havenwink, and snuggly too!!!

altho, the thought of doing it to get my head started in the morning feels nice....

Shoshe Thu 10-Jul-08 13:07:19

I have Chronic Sllep disorder psycho, so its not hard for me to be up, sleep is bad anyway, and rather than sit in front of the tv trying to feel human, the going out walking helps.

But to be honest I have always been a early riser, I have never slept in passed 8 even as a teenager, my Mom reckoned I was freaky grin
