Uch. gross things. Why do they always put more of them in then any other type? It's the element of suprise that I find the hardest, they creep up on you whilst you are engrossed in a film, disguised as a malteser/toffee/coffee ball then all hell breaks loose when you bite into them, they destroy the taste of everything else as anything after them is just tainted with that vile orange taste.

I've even tried guessing by sniffing them individually but they all smell alike on the outside. What am i to do?

Keep them and send them to me- those and the coffee ones are my faves!

FoghornLeghorn Fri 18-Apr-08 17:39:44

Oh I lurve Revels - all the better now they've removed the peanut ones !

StealthPolarBear Fri 18-Apr-08 17:39:58

yanbu
they should be banned,, replaced with toffee ones
(did you think of this after reading the jelly babies thread? )

hifi Fri 18-Apr-08 17:40:04

coffee and orange are the work of the devil. you should be able to pick and mix your own bag.

peanutbear Fri 18-Apr-08 17:40:11

YABU they are the only ones I like

Lucycat Fri 18-Apr-08 17:41:29

totally agree with FoghornLeghorn - I hate all nuts so could never eat revels for fear of striking unlucky and getting the dreaded nut one.

You could switch to maltesers?

Blandmum Fri 18-Apr-08 17:41:37

Coffe is the worst, and then orange

ellideb Fri 18-Apr-08 17:42:12

I'm so original aren't I Stealth?? wink

StealthPolarBear Fri 18-Apr-08 17:43:47

don't know who mentioned it but we def need a sweet swap thread
or just do what i do - eat dairy milk. no nasty surprises

twinsetandpearls Fri 18-Apr-08 17:44:22

I love the ornage ones it is the coffee I hate.

constancereader Fri 18-Apr-08 17:45:28

toffee are rubbish, I like the orange ones the best. Followed by coffee.

Lauriefairycake Fri 18-Apr-08 17:45:29

I love 'em too

DH won't even buy Revels as he's scared of the coffee ones grin

hifi Fri 18-Apr-08 17:46:43

constan, you are not normal grin

emj23 Fri 18-Apr-08 17:46:47

Revels are just generally wrong. The coffee ones are foul, the orange ones are so sweet you can feel your teeth melting, the ones that look like Minstrels aren't Minstrels, therefore naff. The toffees are too chewy and the Malteser ones are always stale. I agree with StealthPolarBear, Dairy Milk wins every time.

YABU - they're the ones that are sent from heaven and because they're not gluten-free, I can't have them. <stamps feet>. I miss orange revels sad

princessmel Fri 18-Apr-08 17:56:27

I hate the orange and coffee ones. Gross.

I take a tiny bite into them and when I discover they are the yukky ones I give them to dh. He's getting fed up with this deal though. Especially when I've half chewed them.

I am with constancereader on this one. I love the orange and coffee ones and find the toffee ones revolting. However I do have a 95% success rate in identifying various flavours by the shape prior to eating them so usually manage to hoik out the toffee ones. A highly useless talent I know but hey ho! grin

SquonkTheBeerGuru Fri 18-Apr-08 18:11:45

now they've ditched the peanut ones, I like them all.

All of them I tell ye!!!!

(lapin - I got my dongle today grin)

Heathcliffscathy Fri 18-Apr-08 18:16:01

orange ones are what you buy revels for!!!

SheWillBeLoved Fri 18-Apr-08 18:18:13

Any sort of fruit or coffee chocolate makes me want to projectile vomit all over the eejit that invented the things. Complete waste of chocolate!
