We're having work done on our house and our electrician has great teeth! I'm not sure sure if they're veneers or he's had them whitened but you can see how good his teeth are when he's talking and REALLY see them when he smiles! GrinHe's often here working when my DH is at work (I also work btw)...

I always notice people's teeth no matter who they are and I love good teeth! My sister says there's no way I can ask him who is dentist is as it would look like I'm flirting with him! He would probably want to know why I'm asking and then I would have to explain that I think his teeth are amazing and would also want to know what he's had done etc so WIBU to ask him or not? It doesn't help that he's extremely muscular and good looking Hmm

What's the purpose of asking what dentist he goes to? Are you hoping if you go to the same dentist your teeth will look the same?
Or do you just want to compliment his teeth? If you just want to compliment him then just tell him he has nice, white teeth.

If you're hoping to have dental work done yourself in the near future I can't see the harm in asking for the purposes of research. And you could tell him that.

But don't ask in a breathy voice whilst standing suggestively by the doorway in a negligee.

Dodgy ground - he may be used to women swooning and therefore assume you are clumsily attempting to flirt. I would find that situation excruciatingly embarrassing. Assuming you are not looking for a quickie, or affair, I'd keep friendly but professional boundaries. Just imagining the scenario, which is prepared and not even spontaneous, is making me laugh out loud 🤣🤣🤣

Easy, just comment that you are not happy with the set up at your current dentist, where does he go?
Just don’t ask with you face six inches from his and wearing a low cut top.

Do you fancy him OP?

Not sure why it's relevant that he is usually there when your husband isn't and you sound a bit like your gushing over him.

@TheBobJog hahahha!!
Op you definitely fancy him you have made so many hints that you do.
Yes you would be unreasonable. Google cosmetic dentists or ask your own dentist what treatments you might benefit from.
Would you be happy if your DH was asking this?

You could always say "I hope you don't mind my asking but my husband and me are looking for a good dentist. I know it sounds a bit daft but can I ask where you go?"
This way he knows you have noticed his teeth but you haven't actually complimented him directly"
Not at all flirty!
