Also thinking the same too. Usually the houses are far more impressive but they do have a good bit of disposable income, I suppose?

I am thinking the rich couple aren't actually "rich" as such, it's family money from the family business, and bloke has been graciously "allowed to join the firm" because the woman wanted to marry him. Her Dad is the boss
They just want to be on telly, advertise their business a bit, and probably be benevolent at the end.
Poor couple live WAY beyond their means, no wonder they're in £30k of debt!

I said the same 🤣 looks like they literally chose the 'options' presented to them by a sales office before you move in to a new build... Especially those brown whatever they were (cupboards or bathroom tiles, can't remember!) Surely with all that money you'd build/buy the shell of the house and choose something a bit nicer? Oh the way I saw it was that whatever they have goes on the DC as it is, so they spent the extras on this occasion on themselves. And I like the lady from the poor house as she isn't sorry for herself; it must be very scary living with epilepsy and not being able to be out on your own.

Something a bit off with the rich couple I thought. The wife was pretty tough. (Wonder what the guy's own family thought of him giving up his surname?)

Much preferred the poor couple! Glad he found a good job in the end.
