To be angry with my neighbours

So long story short had a bit of a run in with the neighbours a few years back, both me, my DH and the guy next door have moved on from it but his girlfriend hasn't.

The girlfriend will ignore us if walking past and refuses to take any parcels in now (which is fine). She doesn't work so she's always at home while her man works, so normally around lunch time each day she throws out the leftover food from the night before. She throws it out onto the street outside her driveway normally more so over our side every single day.

This evening while I was in the kitchen shes came out of her house and chucked food directly right in front of our car which is parked in our drive way.

I am livid beyond words because its evident that it has been a deliberate stunt and now I'm left with what should I do.

AIBU for not wanting to let it go, being one to many times it's happened.

YANBU I'd really like to pick the food up and dump it all at her door step 🥴

She throws waste food out onto the street? Where do you live, the fifteenth century?

BlackberrySky Thu 25-Feb-21 18:53:05

Move it in front of her car. If she does it again, post it back through her letterbox.

😂 Thinking the same thing.

That's disgusting!

isitjustlockdown Thu 25-Feb-21 18:54:57

She is littering in the street daily?

Does your local authority have a team for street cleaning or anti social behaviour team you could report it to?

It's absolutely disgusting.

grin sorry this made me snort

Angel2702 Thu 25-Feb-21 18:57:19

That is disgusting and a great way to attract vermin. Has she not got a food waste bin?

Youllbeoldertoo Thu 25-Feb-21 18:58:05

Why does she throw food outside?,

LadyTruck Thu 25-Feb-21 18:59:17

Start using a chamber pot & throw that out the window each morning? wink

Freezeboy Thu 25-Feb-21 19:00:12

What a great way at attract pests, mice and rats etc. Does she not have the mental capacity to use a non?

Freezeboy Thu 25-Feb-21 19:00:21

*bin

Disressingtimes Thu 25-Feb-21 19:01:57

I’d get my shovel and fling it onto her drive. Dirty mare.
Doesn’t he ever notice rotting food at the end of his drive?

M24L Thu 25-Feb-21 19:02:18

It appears to be take away leftovers, always leftovers of a pizza including the white plastic bit which is normally placed in the middle of the box.

She walks past her bins to chuck the food onto the street so clearly no intention of using the bins for the waste.

That is awful, so the front of your houses is just a smattering of rotting food?

Ileflottante Thu 25-Feb-21 19:03:51

Video her and post it to Next Door, the busybody social media platform. Say for anyone dealing with rats, blame number whatever-house-she-lives-in. Or scoop it up and post it back through her door.

M24L Thu 25-Feb-21 19:04:06

@Disressingtimes the food is normally gone by the time he comes home at tea time with cars driving over it and birds pecking away.

@CavernousScream

🤣🤣🤣

HelpMeh Thu 25-Feb-21 19:04:45

I'd shove it all back through her letterbox personally...

Bluntness100 Thu 25-Feb-21 19:05:30

That’s absolutely disgusting, honestly I’d video that and send it to environmental health. There must be something wrong with her mentally. No one chucks their food on the street like that. And assuming she’s not mentally well, I’d not be wanting to get all up in her face.

Cherrysoup Thu 25-Feb-21 19:06:06

How bizarre! I’d sweep it all back to her side. So odd.

Lochmorlich Thu 25-Feb-21 19:06:08

This isn't making it better.

Bluntness100 Thu 25-Feb-21 19:07:22

Sorry so she orders takeaways when her partner is at work, then chucks the left overs on the street but tries to put it in front of your house so it doesn’t look like it’s her.?

HeckyPeck Thu 25-Feb-21 19:08:40

You need to video her doing it and report her.

What a skanky thing to do.

M24L Thu 25-Feb-21 19:09:24

@Lochmorlich not meaning to make it sound better! It's vile and seriously ridiculous that she can't put it in the bins provided given the fact they are closer to her door than the street. But I do think that what she's doing is a deliberate stunt to pi$$ us off.
