They're both unspeakably awful.

But since Trump is just reprehensible in every way, I suppose it would have to be Biden. He's terrible too though.

Poor poor Americans. What a choice.

I don't really like Biden but I would never ever vote for Trump no matter what. If his opponent was a pile of dog turds I'd vote for the turds.

It would have to be Biden, Orange Crush is truly awful in every single way.

I think it's safe to say there are no winners in tonight's debate...
It's like watching a train wreck.

Personally I think they need Biden for 4 years while both parties find a credible candidate. Sadly I fear Trump will get in.

Both are dreadful. However, since I would rather see absolutely anyone but Trump win I would have to vote for Biden.

Biden. When he put himself forward, my first reaction was why didn’t he push one of his children instead as they’d surely be a better age. Then I looked them up. His first born, Beau, whom he believed could one day run for president, died a few years ago. I do wonder if his second son or daughter were ever considered or if it was just Beau. Having quickly scanned the Internet, I came up blank. Perhaps when a family is aiming for the top, you pick your first born or the most appropriate child and use the others as support tools and this may have left a vacuum. The GCs are too young. Right now, therefore the only option is perhaps still Biden senior.

I live in the US and not voting for either. I agree, we have over 360 million people here and this is best we can do? I feel for my grandchildren.

If I had to vote, then Trump. If I didn’t have to, then neither of them.

The comparison couldn't be clearer. Anyone who watches that debate and thinks that Donald Trump should stay president is deluded. He is out of control. He has no plans and he does not care about the people he covers. He refused to condemn white supremacy and encouraged his supporters to interfere at the polls. He is a dangerous man.

If you choose not to vote for either, you are tacitly condoning all of this.

I am appalled. This is so broken.

100% Biden. I’d vote for a rotten turnip over Trump.

I can understand why people might not want to vote for Biden, but I really hope those on the fence will choose to do so.

Biden as a route to get Trump out, but frankly neither should be in that position.
It was horrifying. I had to leave the room. What an absolute freak show American politics is. Awful awful awful. Is there no one with an IQ above 60 in the country? Biden may have been a good option thirty years ago, but dear god. Dh thinks he’s only standing in an attempt to get Trump out and would hand over to Kamala as soon as he won. I cannot believe these two buffoons are the ones hand picked by the electorate to lead. It’s a fucking embarrassment.

Both Trump and Biden were absolutely horrendous. The left really needs to get their act together on both sides of the Atlantic.
Of all the things they could have picked to attack Trump they pick his taxes from 2016 when the rate of tax was decided by the Obama and Biden administration.

Biden is awful but I'd vote for him just to get Trump out. It's all too depressing for words.

I literally can't fathom how any sane person could defend a vote for Trump.

He just told a white supremacist group to 'stand down and stand by'

I am ashamed to be in a country that celebrates such a human.

It doesn't matter what the results in November are Trump is not going to leave. If he loses he will declare the election null and void.

I would vote for Biden, but only because he's better than Trump. I think he'd make a far-from-perfect president but I would hope he's got a better moral compass than Trump.

Biden, without question. Both candidates have probably passed their best days cognitively; both have always been a bit given to gaffes; both have shown less than stellar attitudes to women in the past (though Trump much more so). But only one of them is a near-fascist. So for the sake of America and the whole WORLD, please vote for the other one!!!

It's like being asked if you'd rather eat dog shit or piss out razor blades.

I do not agree that Biden is the lesser of two evils. They are both equally dispacable excuses for human beings who have done horrible, unforgivable things, and it's really depressing that they are both in positions of such power. It seems that no matter what, evil will always rise to the top.

I don't even care who wins. Neither of them will do the country or it's people any good at all. They may as well just flip a coin.
