AIBU?

to think I’m going to have to be cut out of this bloody Molke bra

The women of Mumsnet convinced me it would be a good idea to buy one. I bought one based on my measurements and another (bigger one) based on my standard bra size. I only managed to get the big one on with DH’s best wrestling skills and I’m not convinced I’ll ever get back out of it. In fairness, it’s comfortable, but if I have to wear it forever, it really needs to be.

Was this a massive scam? Is there a secret zip? Do I need hypermobile shoulders?

Oh no, I was just about to order one of these thinking it would answer my prayers. Watching this with interest.

Also hope you get out soon Grin

Oh the fear when you get stuck in something!

I felt the same. I ordered one based on my measurements and never thought I'd get in it. Did - but then almost didn't get out of it. Haven't dared put it on since. Will try a bigger size as it was reasonably comfortable and I like their philosophy. (Small band, large cups seem to be the problem - I am a 32 ff)

I just looked them up as never heard of them before. I don't get it, they look horrible. Are they super comfy or something? What's the attraction?

I have one and its comfortable on but yes its awkward to get into and out of (but I have issues getting in any bra now anyway due to my hyper mobile joints and pain issues).

To get it off, wiggle one arm out, upwards, then haul over boobs and off.

I had a panic attack when I got stuck in a sports bra once 🤣

Those look awful. Do they give you any shape or support?

I just googled them. They do look comfy but they’re like the crocs of bras, I do hope you get out of it!

@ShebaShimmyShake a fair amount, I'm happy in one around the house/nipping to the shops wearing one and I'm a 34K

I pull mine down and step out of it.

I couldn’t get on with them for the same reason. I just can’t be dealing with the whole faff of trying to get them off. It actually made me really sore across the top of my arms from wiggling around trying to remove the bloody thing!

I've just googled them - they look very peculiar and not that shapely or comfortable. I hope you manage to liberate yourself op.

Without wishing to betray the sisterhood, I have to ask - if your DH strapped you into it, why can’t he free you?

My word they are not the prettiest bras are they? I hope you manage to get free from it soon OP.

Not that that’s practical for everyday wear, I guess.

I'd love to have the problem of trying to get out of one. I've been trying to buy one since the beginning of this year and they NEVER have anything in my size - not even the weird colours 🤔

Yeah if I wanted to be encased in underwear I'd wear my great grandmothers corset.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/09/2020 20:56

Just googled them. God, they are dreadful!

I got stuck in a corset once after a night out. That was a conversation my neighbour hasn't forgotten.

You're much better off with the bravissimo version. I bloody love it (32H) www.bravissimo.com/products/nova-lounge-bra-ln764/#black-ln764blk

They look like bikini tops, don’t they look weird under clothes? Cut it off and bin it OP!

Oh dear, those are some weird bras. They look a bit like swimwear.

I do sympathise though. I once got caught in a very strappy and complex sports bra and thought I'd have to be buried in the thing. I was trying to take it off to shower at the gym, so was subtly wriggling around and trying not to grunt too much as other women were changing nearby.

He might have to. I expect I’ll be sweaty and exhausted, rather than sexy.

It was mostly comfortable with good enough shape but it’s digging in at the ribs now I’m slouching.

That bravissimo one looks like a much better bet, and cheaper, but if it’s billed as a lounge bra, perhaps it’s not suitable for going out in.
