To ask what the heck I can buy DH for birthday?

He away on the morning of his birthday so I'd like to give him gifts to open there but what gifts?
He's into music hugely, cycling (recent events have made him into a bike guy sadly), but has all the smelly stuff and toiletries he needs, clothes ditto, music gear likewise
Any ideas? I thought about a nice pillow as he loves his sleep, but cannot think of anything else. Bike themed gift? That's not a gift set or gift specific item. He's not into personalised shizzle either. Likes wine and beer a lot but his beer taste is very narrow
Help!!

A voucher for a brewery tour?

Does he like tech? I adore my Apple watch and it's brilliant for tracking workouts. Pricey though.

Got him a fit bit and he never wore it. He might like Apple Watch but as you say it's a bit £££. He's had brewery tour previously with his mates
He's so hard to get anything for

We usually just get a bottle of wine and a takeaway for each others Birthdays so I'm not much help. If we want something specific we buy it ourselves. Does he read? My dh has just bought himself a new kindle and loves it.

If he got into cycling during lockdown then he might not have any bad weather gear yet. Cycling overshoes and reflective windproof gloves might for the bill.

This website do really stylish prints of music stars onto tea towels or as regular prints if he likes any of these stars?

Does he have a Garmin bike tracker thing? My bike guy loves his Garmin. Not sure how much they are. He also asks for things like branded water bottles, bike riding gear (tops, bibs etc), lights, things for attaching other things to bikes....as you can tell I am not into cycling myself. Book of good bike rides? Subscription to a cycling magazine? Or a music magazine?

DH wouldn’t wear a Fitbit but loves his Withings Steel HR watch - it looks a hell of a lot more like an actual watch than a sports monitor but does exactly the same.

Bad weather cycling gear is a good idea, puncture repair kit? Thermal cycling top?

Weight blanket and silk pillow case?

See Sense smart bike lights, I love mine, or a Garmin.

I read a brilliant book called cycling to the ashes about a guy who cycled all the way to Australia for the cricket. Mentioned to DH. Not interested. He's a bloody pain. I've ordered him a shirt and some chocolate already but glad to see there are more ideas coming through. Thank you!!

What about a trip? Or are you avoiding travel at the moment?

Whist not technically cycling, there is a really cute film based on a true story called ‘The World’s fastest Indian’ about an Australian guy who has the help of his community to get to a motorcycle drag race event in the desert. My DH loves that film and is sort of along the right lines for his interest. It’s a really good film starring Anthony Hopkins but i dont think it’s that well known

A recent successful gift for my DH was some “grown up” Lego for adults - he loved putting together the Land Rover Defender so much that I’m going to get him some others in the series for future gifts. Great lockdown/socially distant activity too!

If he has an iPhone how about Airpods? I love mine for running and listening to music while doing things around the house.

Other surprise hit with my DH recently was a heated beard straightener. Obviously only works if you have a beardy DH, but mine has been preening his lockdown beard carefully so the straighteners went down brilliantly. He thinks his beard looks much more well kept now that he’s straightening it once or twice each week.

Does he already have a good speaker? I got dh a really good bluetooth one for his birthday and he loves it. Especially now it looks like he'll be wfh forever, he can have his music on all day!

Possibly a really good bike light for as the weather draws in? If he has mainly been cycling in the light so far he might not have a really bright one?

Helmet liner for cycling in the cold to stop freezing ears?

Beers of Europe box? You can choose exactly what you want so if you know he loves particular types you can pick them?

Another thought - if he’s into his beers, he may enjoy a draft beer tab called the Sub. This was a hit present for DH for Christmas a year or two ago - you can buy the torps via Beerwulf
