Currently 30 weeks pregnant. Almost 2 year old son. Building work being done on our house.

I'm so tired. Today I took DS to our friend's for the day. He cried on the drive there because we now have to walk to our car because of the builder so he thought he was going for a walk and was then hugely pissed off about being put in the car. On the way back he kept crying at me for 'nimes' which I'm guessing is 'rhyme' but apparently none of the nursery rhymes I knew was the right one.

He now for some reason wont go to sleep and screams bloody murder if i leave the room.

I tried to book a swim at my gym for tomorrow but they close the pool at 5 now, making my membership a complete waste of money.

I just want a break. I want everyone and everything to fuck off.

I just feel like I cant seem to catch a break at all. If covid wasnt happening this would be so much easier. If DS was older we could go out all day without worrying about a nap which would be so much easier. If he was small I could sit in the living room with him in a bouncer. If I wasnt pregnant I could cope with getting a kicking toddler in a car seat. If the builders weren't here I could be more comfortable at home.

Me too! 33 weeks. 5 year old crying every time she doesn't get her own way. Despite hours of playing and entertaining her, didn't want to let me and her dad have half an hour of watching TV, made me feel guilty and shitty. Luckily, he did her dinner while I had a nap, though puppy came and woke me up. Feel moderately more able to cope now. It's so much about the sleep OP.

Usually I go through frown your brows, gnash your teeth, scream "yeee-argh!", and by that stage it quickly becomes "if you tired and you know it, have a nap (snooze, snooze)"... Very therapeutic

Ours were easy babies and great children, but the teen years are awful. Eldest is fine but youngest is 19 now, and currently the worst person I’ve ever met.

You have my sympathies. I'm due tomorrow, midwife refused to give me a sweep today, I'm hot and fed up and everything is shit. Everytime I've been in the front garden today a neighbour has cheerfully joked "not had the baby yet then?" Look at the fucking size of me, do I look like I've had the baby? Does the lack of baby not kinda indicate I haven't had him yet? Wankers.

I’m currently heavily pregnant, at home with my two year old & getting building works done on my house (I’m not staying there) which probably won’t be completed or liveable until after I have baby no 2. 🙄 he has also done nothing but whine and I’m just too pregnant to be fun when I’m living out of bags.
