My neighbours are lovely and we get on well but the dad is like a (very loud) big kid and spends his days in the garden with his kids whooping, shouting "weeeeee, whoooopeeee, waaaaaaay, wooooooow" obviously chasing them round the garden or something and being very loud about it (this is all day). I don't actually mind this, it's nice to hear a dad have fun with his kids. In fact I'm quite envious, my ex always barked at the kids to leave him alone to relax whenever he was in the garden with them. I only mention this is just to paint a picture of my neighbour's personality.
Last week they got a trampoline and have put it on the highest point in the garden, meaning when they bounce I can see the tops of the kids' heads. But when Obnoxiously Loud Neighbour (OLN) bounces on it I can see the whole upper half of his body over the fence. The kids have been on it maybe once a day. He's on it about six times a day! I was sunbathing today and then saw OLN out the corner of my eye bouncing (alone) and saying "whooppeeeee" and then he looked my way, waved and said "Hi Glummy, catching something rays are we?".
AIBU to find this quite unneighbourly? I'm happy that he's such a happy chap but for the love of god you're an adult stop playing with kids toys!
