Best friends partner trying to end our friendship

I met my best friend in the world on my first day at high school. He is male but we just hit it off straight away. Never fancied each other never kissed or anything like that we are just great friends and have the same sense of humour and like the same things. Fast forward to now we are early 30's and i am married to his brother so he's now not only my best friend but my BIL. He met a lovely girl about 2 years ago we all got on great went for numerous weekends away together I'd have cinema nights ect with her and classed her as a great friend. She recently fell pregnant and they have now moved in together and basically best friend kept a box like a memory box of notes we swapped in class not just me and him but some of our other friends too he also has our leaving school friendship photo which is a group of us on male and females. The notes aren't lovey or flirty or anything they were mainly on a Monday morning in double England talking about the charts the day before and whether we thought the top 10 was in the right order. Since she came across this box which he actually shown her it wasn't hidden or anything she has told him she will leave him and he will never see their baby if our friendship carries on. He is distraught as am i and my DH. We've been best friends over 20 years and he is family. He loves his partner and I've always been nice to her made her feel welcome in my life in my home so i am so shocked. My MIL cried all day yesterday she raised her son's as a single parent and loves how close they are and I've practically been a part of their family since i was 12 and now suddenly there is this huge wedge. My DH has told BIL to put his foot down and tell her he's not ending his friendship with me which BIL did because he couldn't believe she was being so ridiculous but she packed her bags scared he wouldn't see his baby he backed down says he'd end our friendship but now regrets it. In the past we've never made her feel an outcast spoken about the good old days all the time she knows how much i love my DH i am in no way a threat to her. She was suffering morning sickness so i sent her flowers she text and said she can't wait until babies here and i will be the best auntie in the world this was only a couple of weeks ago. All was fine then this. I have seen the box a few times there's notes in there where I've told BF his brother had been messaging me and i like him. There's absolutely nothing in there that would make her think we are anything but friends. I tried to reason and say it's hormones but DH says he'll never forgive her for putting us in this situation and wants nothing to do with her. Him and his brother are so close brother nips round regularly they do sports together ect we have always spent time together but now i am to be nowhere near BIL or she's gone. So BIL won't be able to see niece and nephew won't be allowed to our home. It's insane!! I sent her a decent message asking what is going on and she just blocked me. She has also blocked me on BIL's phone and removed my number. I don't text BIL directly we all had a WhatsApp group where we share jokes pics and make plans as a group I literally don't know what to do i am lost and feeling so sad. He was best man at our wedding he's a huge part of our lives and to think of life changing so much is devastating i feel so empty and depressed today.
