Just posting for opinions as I'm curious. What do you think will be the next lot of things he announces? Other than wearing masks.
I did hear it was Monday the 23rd. Is this correct?

I'd like it to be that he acknowledges he's fucked up and he's a piss poor PM, followed by his resignation, but that of course isn't going to happen.

No idea but I’ve been quite impressed by Boris as PM so far and I was never a fan, I didn’t vote for him.

Yeah - his resignation would be good.

But maybe he is going to give us one of those 'I am going to level with you speeches' like:

I am going to level with the British people. I am a complete dickhead, totally obsessed with myself and my career, incapable of understanding anything properly - especially detail, and certainly not fit to lead this country. But you are stuck with me.

I haven't been impressed with a Tory Prime Minister since before I was born. If Boris did resign, ,which fuckwit would we get in his place?!

Anyway, to answer ops question, I think he'll waffle on about mandatory masks, places like gyms etc reopening, how good it is that everyone is now getting back to work and then toddle off. So not much really.

Surely it would be more like “I might have been a dickhead, but there again I might not have been”

Maybe he will tell us that he has actually started reading the scientific report regarding a potential second wave this winter?

Okay, here goes...

I like that he seems to be the only one with sense when it comes to protecting sex safe spaces and not allowing self ID

I never agreed with the badger cull and I am really pleased that he has pulled the plug on it.

My mum lives in a so called ‘deprived’ area and he has pledged a lot of money to regenerate her area which I like as it needs it, I am hopeful that he will keep his promise to improve poorer areas of the UK.

He has kept the winter fuel payment, pensions triple lock and bus pass which I agree with.

Some good plans for the environment like restoring peatland and planting more trees in the pipeline

On coronavirus, I think the government acted on the advice of scientific advisors.
I think that as a new, novel virus no one really knows the best way of dealing with it, some countries, Norway I think is one but I may be thinking of somewhere else, hasn’t done lockdown and their numbers are relatively low compared to other countries that have locked down.

I was surprised and impressed at the decision to furlough though I think it should have been offered only to smaller businesses.

No ones perfect and yes there are things I definately don’t agree with; I am very much anti Brexit and think it’ll be a disaster, the view of government, no, the view of a lot of the UK when it comes to immigrants/foreigners is awful to me, I despise the points based system and was disgusted to hear Priti Patel talking about training ‘our own’ care staff but overall, yes he has done/doing a lot better than I expected him to.

Personally I think he has done ok as well . If you are following science you will always have a problem because for every scientist who says one thing you will find one who disagrees . If I have any criticism it is definitely for the media who I think have been quite frankly appalling with actually printing lies and more lies and I think if people had read the websites and listened to the daily briefings they would have been less confused . I am very disappointed that at a time of crisis the other parties did not pull together instead of using a pandemic for scoring political points.

As a business owner we have had access to information at all times and guidance and if it was not for the furlough scheme we would be in really big trouble .

IMO
