Absolutely over the moon to be overweight this morning!

I was class 2 obese in February (ugh, felt terrible) and today, after 5 months of dieting, I've finally hit a BMI of 29 something and officially 'just' overweight.

Next stop - normal weight!

@ComDummings it been surprisingly easy but quite boring! I had a wake up call in December on a weekend away that involved a lot of walking. My knee was hurting and I felt breathless - and it was miserable because I was trying to hide all this from my DH as really didn't want to say ' everything hurts because I'm fat!' Also had some blood tests and I'd given myself high cholesterol - all down to eating cakes etc

I also hate exercise but in February I started walking. I do between 10k -15k steps a day spread over two walks. And I've gone for good old fashioned calorie counting. This time I didn't just pluck a figure out the air - I worked out my TDEE and used the Harris Benedict formula which brought me out at 1323 cals a day. And I stick to that every day apart from one day a week when I eat 2000-2500 cals. I also eat between 12pm - 7pm but I'm not doing this with any nod towards to intermittent fasting - it's just what suits me

I couldn't do keto or low carb or anything like that because I want to be able to eat carbs tbh. So I avoid a lot of bread or pasta but will eat it if I fancy it

And that's been it really

That's amazing. I'm struggling to get on the same bus at the moment. But I'm hoping that when I do, the journey will be smooth and productive. Well done :)

Well done! I've just this week moved from obese (starting at 34.5) to overweight and it felt good! Onwards and downwards!
