Getting back my sparkle!

After reading the thread on missing my looks its definitely made me think I'm in that category but not just looks i miss my sparkle and confidence.
I'm early 30s and since the birth of my 2nd child I've just stopped looking after myself and just looked after everyone else so now I want to get it back so I've made a list of changes!
Exfoliating at least once a week
Suncream every morning and cream every evening
Loose 3 stone maybe 3 and a half
Eat more veg and less biscuits
Walk more
Keep toenails painted nicely
Learn new things

What else could I add? Does anyone fancy joining in? 💐

Yes please.
My little boy is 14 months old and I'm back at work full time so really need a kick to lose the 'baby' weight, try to get my skin looking better and generally take better care of myself.
I loved regular massages pre pregnancy so I think I'll book in for one every 6-8 weeks. Lack of hair cut isn't helping me at the moment too but that's booked for the 7/7 x

I haven't coloured my hair since in my early 20's but I've found a few grey hairs (I'm 40 in a few months - another reason to sort myself out).
You've really motivated me - tomorrow I'll go for a walk in my lunch break, drink more water and no booze on school nights

Oh you babies - enjoy your youth! Before you know it you will be looking 60 full in the face and realising how very beautiful you are right now this minute!

I just got rid of my ex now every day I feel like I’m Beyoncé parading around the house!

Hell yeah I look good

You sound very sparkly already op Smile
Mine would be to get out regularly and go to interesting places. It can be local. I find well travelled and those who are just interested in people and places are very sparkly.

I feel similar. Since lockdown I’ve put on more than a few pounds Blush and I haven’t really taken care of myself at all.

I’m trying to find some good Vitamin C skincare to get my skin glowing again, and I’m finally booked in to get my hair done next week!

I’m also moving more and eating better. I’m making sure that I do some kind of physical activity everyday, whether that’s a long walk, a HIIT workout or lifting some weights. I’m also trying to eat healthier, and slightly less.

Enjoy a bath more often (when the kids are in bed or with your partner), with bath bombs if you like and candles and if you have a tablet or phone you can watch something on Netflix while soaking. This is one of my favourite activities to do at the moment (But I am 19 weeks pregnant and have no other children)

Do something different with your hair?

Have a look on Groupon or Wowcher at some of the courses they have, some are dirt cheap and might be of interest to you.

Putting on music I love LOUD and dancing like a loon gives me back a bit of sparkle for a while.

Welcome ladies 👋 so I have read through a slimming world recipe book from last year and have made a shopping list of things good and healthy, have also purchased a hair dye but haven't done it yet and am currently looking online at free courses I could do while still off to help me decide what I actually might want to do with my life!
