A group of -animals- people dressed in KKK outfits deemed it appropriate to paint "White Lives Matter" on the main field/football pitch in our local park this morning.

The majority reaction to this on the main town facebook page was in support of the defacement.

Aibu to ask where to begin in combating this?

Sadly, moving is not an option. Midlands based, and most of the towns in the area seem to have similar viewpoints.

When it hits the news (and it will, due to them being dressed in KKK outfits), it's going to be even more embarrassing for the locals.

But there is racism everywhere, although it's often not as public as that.

Borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth doesn't surprise me sadly - live around there for a while.

I grew up further south in Midlands and would be surpised if it had been there or surrounding area or in the midland cities I've lived and worked in.

Speak for yourself but don’t tarnish all of the midlands with Bedworth which has always had racist undertones. Coventry is far, far more accepting than that place. I worked at a secondary school in Bedworth and swiftly removed myself as all I could see were white faces upon white faces. They can hardly talk that lot, incredibly uncultured place that hasn’t moved beyond the 70s . Just ghastly.
