To ask you to help me find this discontinued perfume?

I'm looking for the Ricci Ricci perfume by Nina Ricci. Every site I've looked has poor reviews and I'm scared to buy it of eBay as a lot state no refunds or returns. It was my favourite perfume and brings back so many memories.
There must be somewhere "legit" hate that word! Where I can buy it again?

The fragrance shop
Fragrance direct
Amazon
The perfume shop
Selfridge's
They all sell it.

@Cookies2523 I looked at them but when I checked trust advisor is it even called that? There are complaints that it's fake scents and they don't last.

@Deadpoet1 They are all unavailable due to it being discontinued. Only one is fragrance direct and they have awful reviews on being fakes. I'll try eBay and pay through PayPal.

I've not seen that for ages.
I'm having trouble sourcing Sunflowers! I love it for work.
Also gutted DKNY red delicious is a goner too.
Like you I'm wary ordering from ebay or amazon due to previous bad experience where the perfume was actually cats piss or similar and nothing like the original.

Cookies2523 Sat 27-Jun-20 18:39:23

Oh really? Oh I'm so sorry - I didn't think to check the trust advisor. Well if I was you, I wouldn't buy from here - just in case! Good luck though in finding it - I'm sure you will.

I used to wear Donna Karan Cashmere Mist and haven't seen that in years and years. Never thought to google it.

eBay is your best bet for finding an old bottle of the real thing. Any other company is likely to be selling fakes since it isn’t made any more. I had good results finding JPG Summer on there, and since the bottle changed every year I could tell it was real, and how old.

If anyone can find Ghost 'Serenity' I would be a very happy bunny!

Angeldust747 Sat 27-Jun-20 18:51:12

Never had a problem with fragrance direct

Misknit Sat 27-Jun-20 19:13:06

If you are going to end up with a fake scent anyway, get a copy from Perfume Parlour. I find their oil scents really long lasting.

HelpMeDrRanj Sat 27-Jun-20 19:39:01

@FudgeBrownie2019 I have a bottle of that in my wardrobe (along with many other pretty much unused perfumes) which I really should start selling. Want me to put it on ebay?

PearlieQueen Sat 27-Jun-20 19:50:39

@Fuckityfucksake I've seen Sunflowers in Savers

GameSetMatch Sat 27-Jun-20 20:10:06

Fragrance direct is real, the parcels seem to come from Germany and take a while but it’s definitely a legitimate site.

Louise24902 Sat 27-Jun-20 20:12:12

I always use fragrance direct, never had any problems!

Thesunrising Sat 27-Jun-20 20:15:02

Check out Eden Perfumes. They are vegan, cruelty free etc and do their own scents and dupes. I’ve just had a great copy of a Carolina Herrera perfume. When they can’t provide an exact match they can suggest something that has the same notes.

TitianaTitsling Sat 27-Jun-20 20:22:39

@Fuckityfucksake Also seen sunflowers in Savers, I have been searching for Les Belles d'Ricci and Gio by Armani- both crazy prices on line!

WhenISnappedAndFarted Sat 27-Jun-20 20:30:39

I've never had any issues with Fragrance Direct either

Me too, I loved cashmere mist. I seen something in Debenhams last year, I think it was similar, but not such a gorgeous smell. I also loved KL by Karl Lagerfeld.

Zhampagne Sat 27-Jun-20 20:36:35

Perfume Parlour do a dupe. It looks like it’s out of stock at the moment but things tend to come back quite quickly: www.perfume-parlour.co.uk/curly-for-women-1110367

@FudgeBrownie2019 I’ve had the PP dupe of cashmere mist and can confirm that it’s very good.

northbacchus Sat 27-Jun-20 20:40:53

Dahlia Diven by Givenchy is very similar, perhaps you could get a tester of that?

nannyplumsmagranny Sat 27-Jun-20 20:57:30

I've used fragrance direct before.

I didn't get sent a fake. They don't update you after you purchase and perfume arrived from Germany.

Take screenshots of order number etc incase you need to contact them if you buy with them.
