To get this looked at

Last night I was trying to lift some flooring and long story short I ended up with a stab wound (accidental!) sort of between my thumb and first finger but closer to my thumb knuckle.
It stopped bleeding fairly quickly but has bled overnight, my whole hand is aching. I'm not too sure on how deep it is but I think I could see fat/tissue. It's about 3/4" long I reckon, couldn't look at it too much as I felt a bit sick.
DH reckons if I stick it together with plaster it'll be fine and that he wouldn't bother having it looked at (this is true, he's an idiot, he never goes to the hospital) but I think it might need stitches or glueing. Aibu to go?

Definitely not unreasonable to go to the hospital to get it checked.

Definitely get it looked at, that sounds absolutely ripe for sepsis
