I’ve just moved it to 10pm weekdays. I’m flexible at weekends. I think as he goes to sleep at 10 and sleeps till 8ish he needs the sleep.

When I was 15 (24 years ago!!) it was 11pm on weeknights and 1am on weekends (unless I went clubbing and then had to be home for 4am)

At 15 they should be able to judge their bed time themselves. It's not unreasonable to expect them to be chilling quietly in their room by 1030 though. My 14 yo is on his room by then but quite capable of deciding when he needs to go to sleep depending on when he needs to get up.

10pm to 10.30ish on weekdays and 11pm to 12ish on the weekend.

At 15 on a school night mine were in bed for 10 lightning off for 10.30. At the weekend they can go to bed when they like as long as they are in their room for 11pm .

Mines almost 16 and in year 11 with no work to do. He goes to bed about 5am! This is quite normal for teenage brains so I'm not bothered.

It depends what time they get home really and what state they're in, if they've been out drinking they might not get back until gone 2am so should probably go to bed immediately. If it's just been an evening of aimlessly wandering the estate they might be home by 11, in which case midnight sounds reasonable.

My 16 year old goes to bed 10:30pm when he has school. He's off for the summer now, so he goes to bed 11:30/12am weekdays, a little bit later at the weekend maybe 1am. He'd stay up all night if we let him but I don't want him lying in bed all day

My just turned 15 year old goes 10.30 when school is on. At the moment, whenever he likes. I’m usually in bed before him at the moment.

Whenever she wants to. She's old enough to regulate her own body clock and know that if she's tired in the morning she needs to go to sleep earlier.
However, she is usually chilling out in her own room after 8 or 9 as that's our adult time to chat and watch TV without kids around.

10pm school night, all gadgets downstairs. Later at weekends and holidays but internet goes off at midnight and I will confiscate his phone if I find him on it at 4am like he was last weekend.

My 14yo goes up at 10pm on school nights as he has to be up at 6.45am, but 11-12ish the rest of the time.

Mine is back at school (not in the UK) so is asleep by 10 weekdays since he needs to get up at 6.30. At the weekends he’s prob asleep by 11 cause he’s exhausted

Roughly 10pm on school nights, 10.30/11ish on Friday/Saturdays.

Tends to be in his room by around 9pm (he prefers to be in there than in the living room!)

On a school day he’s up at 5.45am and leaves the house at 7am. On the weekends he’s usually up by 8.30/9am as he runs in the mornings and has other commitments on a Sunday.

Currently he heads to his room early evening and watches movies until about 11pm and then sleeps. TV in his room can only play DVDs - not regular TV and the remote controls are kept in the living room. No phones or iPads in bedrooms here either.

@Northernsoullover at least he's cleaning his teeth, count that as a win!

Mine goes to bed at 9, and generally to sleep soon after - needs his sleep, takes himself to bed when he's tired, can't see any kudos in staying up late when he's tired - but then he's been like that from day 1. Unlike my 17 year old who I swear didn't sleep a wink for his first three years, and still isn't all that keen.

She goes into her room about half 10 and goes to sleep at some point between then and the morning... Same for pre COVID times. She is actually not bad at recognising when she is tired.
