Filing

When you file things in a alphabeticised filing cabinet do you have A at the front or the back of a filing cabinet?

Just realised the reason I can never find any of our cd's is because my dh files everything the wrong way round. Just had a row over it because he will not accept that he is wrong!

I know this is a first world problem, but just wondered how other people filled alphabetically in drawers?

I'd file with A at the front

Definitely front! Although I say this my daughter files in front of a divider rather than behind so what do I know?

You're more likely to have ABCs than XYZs, so the ABCs go at the front.

A at the front but then I guess if I had mostly z to n stuff I might go the other way

A at the front. Ignore The and go for second word. So The Beatles would be stored under B. Otherwise T gets top heavy.

Where there's multiple albums from the same artist then the albums should be stored chronologically.
