AIBU?

To think that men who send pictures of their genitals are predatory?

Unless such pictures are mutually agreed and requested of course. I'm not referring to happily married / committed men where the wife or partner actively encourages it.

I'm talking about the type of men who jump at the chance to send these pictures without being asked, so long as they think there's a chance the recipient might be interested.

Note they think the recipient might be interested. They don't bother asking first.

It's an assault. I think men forget the male penis looks like a naked mole
Rat and not something to show off outside the men's changing rooms...

YANBU and I think it should be a specific crime to send unsolicited dick pics.

male genitals are ugly as fuck anyway why any man would think a woman wants to look at photos of their bits is beyond me,

I think they're pathetic individuals. Dicks are inherently ugly and silly looking as well.

My ex was one of these.

It transpired that he had a habit of doing it, and not just to me.

Used to be called 'flashers' when I was young - pathetic.

Predatory, no. Pathetic, yes.

Report
BruceAndNosh · 19/06/2020 23:05

It's the digital equivalent of flashing at someone.
Gross

They're just flashers 2020.

I went to an all girls boarding school. It attracted flashers like bees round a honey pot. Weirdly I never felt afraid. Usually they were lurking along our route to the games fields but we always walked in a group and were armed with hockey 🏑 sticks. Grin

I think finding them in your home, on your phone and iPad, messaging your daughters on Instagram is far more upsetting and scary.

Report and block. But it's like whack a mole.

That's how I see it, they are flashers and just one very small step away from being the perverts in the park exposing themselves to unsuspecting women.

It's revolting behaviour like this that makes me anxious for my DD getting older. They are everywhere.

Never have I got the urge to send a close up picture of my labia to anybody be it in a relationship or not. It's alarming that men think this is normal.

Unsolicited dick pics absolutely are the digital equivalent of flashing in the street and should definitely be illegal.

It’s a criminal offence in Scotland.

Yep it is awful. Unfortunately now with OLD you see the jewels before the date, it is like an introduction to the penis with the man so I'm told.

They over estimate the attractiveness of their junk. Naked mole rats are more attractive and they have teeth!

I have never met a woman who thinks dick pics are a turn on.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in my disgust. The creep I know who did this tried to have me believe that I was the problem, because the OW loved receiving them apparently.

I don't believe that for a second, I think she tolerated them much like I did for a short period of time, because she was interested in him as a whole.

I've seen a handful of penis' close up and not one was attractive Envy not envy.

Do any women actually ever ask a man to send a picture of his cock? Aren’t they all unsolicited?

Report
Curious78 · 19/06/2020 23:30

Being sent a random dick pic turns me off quicker than a slight switch, yuk. It's up there with asking how a fella is and he hits back with "I'm horny". Pervert

I always wonder what they think we should do with it.

Print it out?

I can't think of anything worse. Sending or receiving.

YANBU. Fucking Old. That and when they ask you for some pics before you've even chatted properly. I hate it, it's so demeaning.

I have never met a woman who thinks dick pics are a turn on.

And yet they keep sending them. Surely if everyone reported and blocked they'd get nowhere OLD and give up? So either some recipients don't object or they just keep sending them anyway because they are flashers?

Photo shop a naked mole rat in its place and return it?
