Ocado warehouse incident

Has anyone else gotten a text saying the Ocado warehouse was evacuated due to an incident in a nearby building and to expect higher number of missing items and substitutions?

Lots of conspiracy theories here on the "incident"

my shopping arrived now and driver confirmed it was down to a huge fire at the oil refinery near their main depot.

Pretty bad to be honest. However it was Tesco and not Ocado, I’ve always found Ocado much better but can’t get a slot for love nor money at the moment! Out of 45 items 10 were missing and 2 more damaged.

@JLbaby such a pain as we are trying to use ocado slot only and not go to shops (asthma and other underlying conditions in household) so it is frustrating but clearly this is one of those things that can't be helped.
Hopefully the wine comes

Yep, I got a message that they might be late although it didn't say anything about a higher level of substitutions. I just had one item missing but rather than being late, the driver turned up 2 hours early without calling ahead! Just as I was getting in the bath

I’m now wondering where my Ocado orders start life (must ask a friendly driver)

Unaffected today, and only one substitution (branded crisps instead of Waitrose Essential)

@60sPony They have fulfillment centres and hubs all over the country. The fire was in London.
