AIBU?

I have a dog, a car and a dh - what can I do this weekend?

Am trying to be lighthearted but honestly - I’m fed up. I work for myself and am now extremely fatigued from lockdown - working 12 hour days - every day.

I need a break from my house. I haven’t been out except to shop or walk the dog locally. This weekend I want to try and do something different

Any ideas

Are you in England or elsewhere? The rules are different in different places.

Depends where you live - wood, picnic?
socially distant meet with friends?
Looks quite sunny on Saturday

Am in London (but SE so Kent etc isn’t far). I’d love honestly to see my parents but they are in their 70’s and being very careful.
Friends have bandied about some ideas but we are all being quite tentative.

A picnic could be nice

I'm a similar area to you, there are lots of woods around where I live. Also we're not too far from the coast - although I'm planning on going tomorrow in the rain as I think the weekend will be busy

@worriedandannoyed I’m on top of two very “big” green areas - I guess I’m just worried that it will just be same shit different day. Basically me and dh eating (which is what the past 12 weeks seems to be made up of) Grin

I'm having a picnic. But can't drink anything as I've got a weak bladder 😳😂

Leave the DH to look after the dog!

Go to a friend's house, spend the afternoon with them in the garden drinking prosseco and eating a lovely takeaway meal from the local pub, then get DH to pick you up and take you home for a snuggle on the sofa, cup of tea and a movie

Well we are off to the hills with a picnic on Sunday, I'm assuming you can get to somewhere with a lovely view.

We took the dog for a walk to Lullingstone Country Park the other week, it was very nice. The toilets were open, the car park was busy and nearly full by late morning, but a big enough area that you weren't passing loads of people as you were walking.
