Well Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None has had two re-titlings, so maybe start there?

I worry that the hand wringing, pious, "offended on behalf of others" brigade are marching us towards some sort of Puritan fix, where on the surface it's all been rectified but nothing fundamental has changed.

A fix where a lot* of our history has been erased to the detriment of us all.

*I do think some of it has no place in 21st century society but censoring stuff like Little Britain basically on the grounds of bad taste is dangerous ground

Isnt there a saying about "we start by burning books and end with burning people" or something?

If you dont like a book don't read it surely? A lot of books are 'of their time'. I've read some of the classics with my DC. Outdated opinions in the books are viewed as just that... outdated views that were acceptable then.
