Work life - being bullied?

At the start of lockdown I got signed off work due to depression and anxiety. I was signed off until Wednesday last week - had sick notes for about 8 weeks however I went back last Monday.

I didn't feel it was right to go back but felt I needed to as I am universal credit and was worried about not returning and getting a sanction. When I was signed off work, I told my manager and said could I send my sick notes anywhere but she decided to furlough me and never took my sick notes in - I have a text proving I told her I was signed off..
At the time, when I told her I was not well she said if I was off, there would be huge repercussions and I would be monitored when I returned to work but furloughed me in the end. She always rings me and never does anything by text.

I have a lot going on but I knew deep down a lot of my anxiety and depression was caused by the pressure of work and still is the cause of me being so down.

Since I have been back I have felt bullied by my manager and someone I work with. My work load is unmanageable and when I told my manager today that I was struggling and didn't have time to do something she told me I needed to find time. I have worked extra hours all of this week and I am unable to work any more due to childcare so I can't "find the time". When I rang her up last week she answered the phone by saying "what" and when I ring her she huffs down the phone at me like I am some sort of inconvenience.

I dread going into work at the moment. I feel sick to the pit of my stomach. I am worried and anxious and I don't know what to do.

Do you have an HR department? Can you go to her boss?

When you’re called, make sure you put a summary of the conversation in text or email along the lines of thanks for calling me to say xyz so there is a written record. Every time.

It might help to join the union Unite who can help and give advice and support and make you feel someone's got your back.

Keep a diary of everything that happens and everything that is said. Build up as much evidence as you can x
