Does anyone have any tips to bring labour on? I know some of them are silly but does anyone have any they actually think work?
Thank you!

Sex

I think the only ones that have any sort of scientific basis are sex (specifically your partner should ejaculate inside you) and nipple stimulation.
Neither work reliably though or no one would ever require induction

Cleaning the house, including mopping, hoovering, scrubbing within managable means.

Or get really stressed out on Christmas day, cooking and hosting on your feet all day long at 8 months gone without any dickhead offering to help. That helped start one of mine.

Stimulating nipples, trying to induce milk production is supposed to be effective

My completely anecdotal method is sex, but it has to be regular good sex. The only one of my four pregnancies I didn't have regular sex in throughout was the only one I went overdue in.
We did it twice towards the end but it was a mercy shag!

Nothing for me- 2 sweeps, sex, hot curry etc. DS wasn’t budging. A pessary finally gave him the heave ho!

Plan to go out somewhere nice and do something fun.

It worked with DD2. We thought we'd get one last family outing done with DD1, by going to a pumpkin parade. 2 hours before we were due to leave my contractions ramped up and that was it. Dd1 still went with PIL.

To be honest, I'd put my feet up and rest as much as I could now that you can.
I tried EVERYTHING to induce labour, th last one of those things being a really long walk and the first deciding that I wouldn't seat anywhere except a birthing ball for the last two months of my pregnancy.
After you have your baby, at least for a while, you want be able to just relax and do just whatever you want. Cherish this moments, OP Flowers
