To want people to LISTEN to me???

My best friend is down for a visit, and asked me if we can meet up, I said I can't do clubbing or anything like that, but could meet up for a meal. My cousin keeps phoning me and asking us to all meet up at the funfair, I said that I can't because they won;t let me on the rides, and also walking any distances triggers contractions (only 33 weeks, can't even walk around the supermarket atm) but he keeps phoning me and saying that we could meet at the fair Why can't he listen to what I am saying???

Shout at the top of your voice - yes, we can do that, you idiots, if you want to be the person delivering my next baby!!! - and then get yourself some cake and have a nice sit down.

Be more assertive.

Say bluntly "I am not going to the fair, I am 33 weeks pregnant and it's not my idea of fun. I want to do something else."

How early were your other children born?

Ds was 35 weeks, DD1 was 31 weeks and dd2 was 33 weeks. ATM I am hanging in there, but don't want to risk going into labour for the stake of a funfair..

No, you'll want to save the funfair for when your 42 weeks and seriously p-ed off!

Does your cousin have children? Obviously as he's male he has no idea about pregnancy at all.

lol, @ 42 weeks!! I have never had that 'last 4 weeks' feeling.
No he doesn't have children, but he knows my history and so does best friend, in fact cousin was living with me when I delivered dd1 at 31 weeks.

I had hoped to go to the meal this evening, and get a babysitter but because they are all going to the fair we have to take the kids and go for the meal at 4pm
