Can we discuss pillows

So I sleep with 3 pillows as get acid reflux palpitations etc. The top one is feather and lovely n comfy but annoying as sometimes feathers poke through. I very often have a sore throat and am a bit snotty and sneezy not all the time but more than.half the time. I do have a very fluffy dog and think I prob get very mild hayfever. So last night I was fine then realised my top pillow(feather) was at bottom so swapped it. Then within half-hour I was a bit snotty sneezed a couple times and this morning have familiar sore throat and uncomfy ear (on 1 side only) so could I be slightly allergic to feathers and this is what has caused it? If so what hypoallergenic pillows are as comfy as my lovely feather one and what should I get or should I stop being a hypochondriac and accept its just hayfever I had pasta for dinner yesterday if that's relevant

How often do you replace your pillows? After a year, half of the weight of your pillow is dead skin and mites, so it could be that this build up is setting you off.

If you replace your pillows regularly, it could well be an allergy to down.

My husband is allergic to down pillows. This might very well be the case for you, too.

DH reacts to feathers. Very annoying as I loved a feather duvet. I bought Dorma 'Sumptuous like down" pillows and the duvet and they are absolutely blissful. You could get them for back or side sleepers from Dunelm.

I can't use feather pillows. If I'm staying at a hotel I have to call in advance.

I have "just like down" pillows. Also have issues with allergies - might need to insist dp ditches his feather pillow (only lived together a short time)
