Sorry for posting here for traffic. It's our son's birthday and he really would like a replica Obi Wan lightsaber. I have no idea where to find one. Seen some on Etsy but they are 3D printed and may be just made of plastic? Anyone here have any knowledge where to buy a decent metal replica that's isn't expensive ? Thanks. He will be 14 so not wanting the toy shop type

I think you will struggle if it needs to be inexpensive. There are lots of decent ones- especially on American sites but, sadly, they cost hundreds.

How inexpensive? Had a quick look and it looks like you'd have to import from the US which means customs charges on top.

My husband has a Force FX from a company called Sideshow I think. Sideshow dont stock them any more, but its fucking awesome.
Think it cost £££. But, well. It's a lightsabre innit

We’ve got a force FX one too from forbidden planet, I don't remember but they weren’t dramatically over £100 at the time. They’re replicas, really well made. But still just a glorified toy 😂

My DS has one from ultrasabers which is very good quality and definitely not a toy. Probably just over £100 once you factor in shipping

ForceFX are really good quality. I think they're more like 200 pound range though.

My husband is currently waiting for delivery of his from Ali express (sigh) and apparently the reviews are good but it will take a while to arrive.
