Can anyone remember this kids TV programme?

I have a vague memory of it in my mind and have spent the last few years trying to find it. It has puppet like characters, they're bugs/insects, one is a chef and I vaguely remember there being another character. I'm early 30s and it was on when I was a kid. Not much info to go on but worth a shot!
