Nan is late 80's. And lives 3 hours away.

She's struggling to understand that shops are closed.

She wants "food cream" for her hair. It's from boots and is in an orange tin.

Does anyone know this product?

My job is to try to source it and get it to her somehow. And the added issue is we are shielding our eldest child so I can't just go browse.

She also can't tell me the brand or the name

No. Sorry. She specifically said orange.

It sounds like she uses it as a conditioner after she has shampooed.

I have no idea what food cream is Grin

Maybe around the price of £3.

I can't see anything in an orange tin which you could class are 'food', just styling wax. I have seen this but not a tin.

Ask her what she does with it. That'll let you know if it's a styling product or conditioner

The Garnier comes in an orange one, papaya flavor I think. Its hair food conditioner.

The Garnier one above also does one that’s in an orange tub, I think it’s papaya or mango scented. L’Oréal also have orange tubs of hair masks- dream lengths and another one I think maybe elvive?

The garnier one is the only one I’m aware of that has food in the description though!

I immediately thought hair food! And the Papaya one is orange (enough)

Does she have the tin so that she can give you the product number?

I'm so slow at typing, so many xposts 😂

She washes her hair, then puts it in her hair and waits a few minutes and then washes it out.

I'll just have a look at the links above. Thankyou. She's not happy to go without this hair product as she's recently been losing her hair and has found it very upsetting

Yes I meant the orange (Papaya) one but I was too lazy to link properly. It's underneath on the same page.

She specifically said £3. Which knowing nan could mean anything. This isn't going to be an easy task!

She said she doesnt know the brand and I don't think she would be able to read any numbers out. I'm not sure if she has any left

Definitely bought from Boots? Superdrug are selling the Garnier ones for £3.46.
