Cringe.

There was something in the paper recently where Lidl had put the sign “please use tongues” near to the bakery goods. That disturbed me.

I cringe when the apostrophe is used incorrectly.

Snowflake - it’s such a shit criticism I always think less of people who use it

Isn’t the top one always ‘moist’. Confused

Yeah. The apostrophe thing.

Incorrect apostrophes and ‘supper’ which I find revolting but not many people seem to agree.

Agree with cringing about apostrophes in plurals. Also the use of 'your' when 'you're' is the required version.

Appropriated r rolling in any word

Mogul . I hate that word so much and it's often used when Simon Cowell is referred to. It gives me the creeps.

Not one word but I hate the phrase ‘the wow factor’ they use a lot on home improvement shows.

I agree about the apostrophes. Also the word cringe used such as it is in the OP, and "flash" when one means "flashy."

'So', when used at the start of an answer to a question, it contributes nothing to your reply.
I too hate to see misused apostrophe's, my butcher used to ask me to proof-read all his sign's, its better to leave them out if you cant use them correctly. I will now remove tongue fromcheek.

“Tits” makes my toes curl.

I’m currently pregnant and the sheer volume of Mama, Mumma, Bubba, Bubs, Hubby, Hubs etc. flying around is doing my head in.

I hate the aggressive words and phrases on MN. I especially hate HTH
