my dds frineds all have bratz lunchboxes
it annoys me

They do have nighties - it is the "pretty" bit that you will struggle with.

Oh yes, DD is 3 and so far has nothing bratz. I am doing my best to keep it that way. She does however have nightwear with plastic pictures (noddy, little mermaid, princesses) on it.

Blimey. If I had a spare kidney to sell I'd pay that for a nightie.

off to look at M&S

I have some lovely Jojo maman bebe (spelling) pjs for my DD this page They are nice thick cotton jersey and still look gorgeous after several times through the washing machine.

sparklesandwine · 20/09/2007 16:21

I know you said nightdress but these pj's in vertbaudet are very simple and pretty

Report
SueBaroo · 20/09/2007 16:22

hmm, the second Marks one is ok. I just find the jersey material doesn't stand up to the punishment, and the horrid transfer thing crack after a few washes.

I'm being far too precious, aren't I?

im a fan of the white company and you get 105 if you use the link on mumsnet. 100% cotton, wash up well and no crappy characters!

Caroline1852 · 20/09/2007 16:23

I think cotton jersey is much more comfortable than unstretchy cotton, warmer too.

Try Debenhams. They don't do much of the 'character' stuff, and their Tiger Lily and Jasper Conran ranges are gorgeous - very girlie and pretty. Not too expensive either.

it's on their website

I did two links and it all mulched together into one, lol.
