.. and not a set of shorty pyjamas with a plastic picture of Fifi and the flowertots or the bloody Bratz stamped on the front of it?

LadyVictoriaOfCake Thu 20-Sep-07 16:12:57

where are you looking?

flowerybeanbag Thu 20-Sep-07 16:14:04

White Company?

my dds frineds all have bratz lunchboxes
it annoys me

bozza Thu 20-Sep-07 16:14:16

They do have nighties - it is the "pretty" bit that you will struggle with.

bozza Thu 20-Sep-07 16:15:15

Oh yes, DD is 3 and so far has nothing bratz. I am doing my best to keep it that way. She does however have nightwear with plastic pictures (noddy, little mermaid, princesses) on it.

nailpolish Thu 20-Sep-07 16:15:29

they do exist but at a price

nailpolish Thu 20-Sep-07 16:16:12

white pillowcase with hole cut in top for head

SueBaroo Thu 20-Sep-07 16:17:39

Blimey. If I had a spare kidney to sell I'd pay that for a nightie.

*off to look at M&S*

How old is she SB?

nailpolish Thu 20-Sep-07 16:17:43

tbh i dont like nighties
they end up around the armpits and the rest of the body is cold

Nbg Thu 20-Sep-07 16:18:09

balls to my link

SueBaroo Thu 20-Sep-07 16:19:56

Ngb, she's six.

Caroline1852 Thu 20-Sep-07 16:20:12

I have some lovely Jojo maman bebe (spelling) pjs for my DD this page They are nice thick cotton jersey and still look gorgeous after several times through the washing machine.

sparklesandwine Thu 20-Sep-07 16:21:45

I know you said nightdress but these pj's in vertbaudet are very simple and pretty

SueBaroo Thu 20-Sep-07 16:22:05

hmm, the second Marks one is ok. I just find the jersey material doesn't stand up to the punishment, and the horrid transfer thing crack after a few washes.

I'm being far too precious, aren't I?

im a fan of the white company and you get 105 if you use the link on mumsnet. 100% cotton, wash up well and no crappy characters!

Caroline1852 Thu 20-Sep-07 16:23:09

I think cotton jersey is much more comfortable than unstretchy cotton, warmer too.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House Thu 20-Sep-07 16:23:21

nbg your link worked! what you ballsing at?

lucyellensmum Thu 20-Sep-07 16:23:47

Suebaroo i totally understand, i have the same problem with my dd (2), dhes doesnt even know what bloody bratz are, and i hope she never does.

SueBaroo Thu 20-Sep-07 16:25:52

Thank you kindly ladies for all these links. I'll shove 'em in a folder to show Dh later.

Jojay Thu 20-Sep-07 16:27:29

Try Debenhams. They don't do much of the 'character' stuff, and their Tiger Lily and Jasper Conran ranges are gorgeous - very girlie and pretty. Not too expensive either.

it's on their website
