To expect a birthday card?

It's my birthday tomorrow. Yet again, no card or gift of any kind from OH, or neither bought by him on our children's behalf. I have said lots of times not to worry about a present, but I would like a card. Weve been together many years and for the first 7-8yrs he made an effort to get me a nice pressie, flowers, a fancy cake and a card.
This is the 3rd time he has done this (nothing at all on my birthday). Coincidentally we have been parents for 3yrs.
When I ask him why he no longer bothers, his reasons range from he doesnt believe in cards, to he didn't have a chance to get one (we live 2mins from an m&s garage, 7mins from a Tesco and has he never heard of Moonpig?)
He has been off work this week so it's literally a case of couldnt be arsed and I obviously don't matter much to him.
Am I being a spoilt brat or is it just really, really shit of him to not even bother to pick up a card, any fucking card, or a generic supermarket birthday cake so my kids can sing me happy birthday and blow out the candles?
What would others think/do in this situation?

I'd not get him anything for his birthday and when he says anything use his excuses back to him.

I have this issue with my husband around mothers day. He never bothers his arse. This year I got nothing just told "I was going to bring you for dinner but.... ya know they're all closed now". So instead of picking up some flowers or something instead he gave me nothing. Eventually after he realised i was upset he got my 5yr old to scribble a piece of paper.
I've always gone out of the way to spoil him but I wont be doing it anymore. The only problem I have now is that i want to teach my dd to celebrate the people in her life and if i do nothing it just perpetuates the cycle.

I would be incandescent. It’s so thoughtless.
