Desperately seeking a little jellycat fox in a blue jumper :(

Posting for traffic and lack of where else I should post I suppose!

My almost 3 year old daughter lost a little jellycat fox in a blue jumper on a woodland walk on Tuesday, the design is called "toastie fox". Can't see him in stock for sale online and I've posted on local facebook groups to see if he has been found. I've looked on ebay and can only see one for £40 which we just can't afford at the moment and my daughter is very sad, especially at bed time.

I don't suppose anyone has one laying around they no longer care for that I could purchase off them do they?

If you email the company they might have stock available?

Its marked as "retired" so I'm not sure they will have any held back but I will certainly give it a go thank you!!!

@lynzpynz

That's a really good idea: that fox on the link is a baby smoother cloth though and not the same fox... my 3 year old will definitely be able to tell it's not the same one as its ears are different :(

Try emailing the company and asking if they've got one lying around somewhere, because your little girl is broken-hearted now she's lost it.

A lot of companies have odds and sods of discontinued stock.

I’m so sorry that amongst the seemingly endless stuffed toys in this house we don’t have that one but really hope someone will be along in a minute to say they do. Fingers crossed ....

Oh I wish I had one! Even googled for you, and can't find one either.

Bumping in the hope someone has one who's looking for a new home.

This is a nightmare. We have a retired jelly cat jumper jack rabbit which I freak about losing quite often as it's also retired.

Can you make an offer on the one on eBay?

Where did you lose it?

Sorry - just realised you've already mentioned the ebay one.

The one on ebay isnt accepting offers :(

We think she left him in some woodland near where we live on a walk. My OH took her and has since been back everyday but he is no where to be seen!

@wolfmom unfortunately they dont have the fox in the blue jumper, it has to be the exact same face... could get away with it if he was jumper less and get someone to knit me a little jumper but I haven't found one the same:(

bibisboutique.co.uk/product-category/brand/jellycat/

This company say to give them a call to see if they can help you source retired etc jellycat toys?

My local wee shop is a jellycat stockist, sadly not online but may be worth checking local stockists too if main jellycat site can't help?

Have you posted on local fb pages as well? We often get lost toys reunited on my local page so worth a shot if haven't already. Hope you find one soon!

Or pin a message to a prominent tree on the walk you did asking if anyone's seen it.

@Crazyoldmaurice keep posting on Facebook pages you never know.

Dd2 lost a monkey you couldn't source anywhere on the web. I was Facebook messages by a neighbour I don't even know whose child had one he didn't take any notice of. He gave it to me and I told dd2 I found it! She was overjoyed and v emotional. It's the kindest thing a stranger has ever done proper Dogger.

Aw I really hope you find it OP, it’s so hard when they lose a favourite toy. We went Disneyland Paris in 2016 and my older daughter who was 6 at the time lost her giraffe in the room somehow, when we packed we couldn’t find it she cried on and off the whole journey home.

She is 10 now and still sometimes cries about Gina the Giraffe Sad

My DH bought her a really tall giraffe for her birthday this year more as decorative piece as she doesn’t really play with soft toys any more. It looks a lot like Gina so I’m hoping it brings her some comfort Confused

Sorry to hear about your DD's Toastie Fox. DD2 has the same one, possibly smaller, and adores him.

I've found this one for sale but it's in Poland.

Contact the buyer on eBay and ask them if they will accept what you can pay, I've changed to a buy it now for polite buyers. They can only email you back saying no!
