Recently moved house and due to lockdown and decent weather have finally decided to tackle the garden.

I was digging up the very far corner of the garden and found whatever this is buried about 2 inches under the soil and covered in leaf litter, my DP thinks it is part of an old radio but I think part of an old computer as I spy a USB port, and I cant fathom why somebody would bury an old radio. Can anybody shed light on what this is?

Iv got a horrible feeling about it confused

No picture.

ChewChewIsMySpiritAnimal Tue 07-Apr-20 18:35:27

It looks like a computer motherboard to me

bridgetreilly Tue 07-Apr-20 18:35:35

Oh, there it is. Circuitboard. Could be out of any electronic device. I don't know why you'd have a bad feeling about it, though.

MsChatterbox Tue 07-Apr-20 18:36:12

I see the picture. A million conspiracy theories running around my head!

ZigZagIntoTheBlue Tue 07-Apr-20 18:36:18

Why have you got a bad feeling about it rather than just assume its general crap someone has dumped?

Wildcat88 Tue 07-Apr-20 18:37:02

It's a graphics card from a PC tower (have a friend who is in IT)

LadyMonicaBaddingham Tue 07-Apr-20 18:37:12

That's nothing... My friend's parents found an entire ice-cream van buried in their garden when they were renovating!!

TightPants Tue 07-Apr-20 18:37:52

It’s from an old radio isn’t it? I remember my dad tinkering with things like this.
Nothing to worry about.

TightPants Tue 07-Apr-20 18:38:47

@LadyMonicaBaddingham WTF??? shock

starfishmummy Tue 07-Apr-20 18:39:29

Circuit biard. Could be anything. Just dispose according to your council guidelines.

DobbyTheHouseElk Tue 07-Apr-20 18:39:49

I found a huge stash of batteries in a garden I was working in, that was a scary find. They’d all melted together into a huge block. I didn’t know what I was digging up and if it was going to explode.

Thatnameistaken Tue 07-Apr-20 18:40:13

Aren't you dieing to know what's on it? shock

Charlotteli Tue 07-Apr-20 18:40:46

@LadyMonicaBaddingham what!! That’s insane

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow Tue 07-Apr-20 18:40:57

I am disappointed. I was expecting bones😂

GreyishDays Tue 07-Apr-20 18:41:01

Oh are you thinking there could be something incriminating on it?

MysteryFrog Tue 07-Apr-20 18:42:28

@LadyMonicaBaddingham you can’t tell us that and not give us any more details!!!

PardonWhat Tue 07-Apr-20 18:42:56

Someone’s probably had a fire and this didn’t burn?

StCharlotte Tue 07-Apr-20 18:43:05

I was going to tell the story of DH digging up an untouched Chinese takeaway but was side swiped by the ice cream van?!

pleasepleasepleasehelp Tue 07-Apr-20 18:43:34

It just looks like an old motherboard to me.

How disappointing. I was expecting something really exciting or scary! sad

TheReluctantCountess Tue 07-Apr-20 18:45:19

An ice cream van! That’s amazing @LadyMonicaBaddingham !

Sloff Tue 07-Apr-20 18:47:53

Apart from the ice cream van which sounds really, err, cool, the other replies confirm to me that I am wise to never dig the garden.

JasonPollack Tue 07-Apr-20 18:49:35

Yeh I would be creeped by that.

StillCoughingandLaughing Tue 07-Apr-20 18:52:35

It’s an old motherboard. From the way you were talking I thought you’d dug up someone’s old mother.
