Just that. People keep saying there will be a baby boom in 9months and I wondered is it true? Are people really having more sex cause they are stuck at home??

Didntwanttochangemyname Tue 31-Mar-20 09:19:43

I would be, but I've got two small children here too and I don't think they'd appreciate it!

SeperatedSwans Tue 31-Mar-20 09:21:33

If me and the guy I've been seeing were locked in together, it's probably all we'd do, and yeah I'd probably end up up the spout 😂

God no

PaulHollywoodsSexGut Tue 31-Mar-20 09:24:51

Hell no

TwoZeroTwoZero Tue 31-Mar-20 09:25:39

No! If anything it's less.

DrunkUnicorn Tue 31-Mar-20 09:26:23

Bloody Hell no. We are lucky if we aren't divorced by the end of it..

Rainbowunicat Tue 31-Mar-20 09:27:33

I wish! We have teenagers who now have nothing to tire them out, so they're always awake later than us at the moment!

Thighmageddon Tue 31-Mar-20 09:28:30

God no, my dh is still going to work so we're keeping our distance from one and other. Possibly irrational but it works in my head.

ShiveringCoyote Tue 31-Mar-20 09:29:20

Teenagers are roaming around like starving wildebeest at all hours of the day and night so no, theres been zero sex.

underthepatio Tue 31-Mar-20 09:30:18

god no! I have adult children home all the time!

RickOShay Tue 31-Mar-20 09:30:34

No way. Can’t relax enough grin

Heismyopendoor Tue 31-Mar-20 09:30:47

My dh is still at work full time. Even if he was at home, I don’t like to have sex when my kids are awake, (three primary age kids) so nothing would change for us

BubblyBarbara Tue 31-Mar-20 09:33:02

No the situation has killed my mojo

WelcomeToShootingStars Tue 31-Mar-20 09:34:13

No, less. My husband has cystic fibrosis so it's too risky just now.

billycat321 Tue 31-Mar-20 09:34:29

Probably. Apparently there's a world shortage of condoms.

gringringrin same here!

OneOfManyDays Tue 31-Mar-20 09:35:18

No! Toddler DD running around. Both WFH full-time in high pressured jobs whilst trying to look after DD at the same time. Stress about what's happening. Won't lie... it's not a romantic vibe right now at our house! No chance of baby booming over here!

mumsie8 Tue 31-Mar-20 09:35:26

#shiveringcoyote grin i have a few of those too. (Starving wildebeast that is)

z0fl0ra Tue 31-Mar-20 09:36:14

I really hope people think about if in 9 months time they would be in the position to have and support a baby, we don’t know how long this will take and personally I think it’s crazy especially when you’ll need to go to the hospital for scans etc over the next 9 months when we will still be going through the destruction of covid-19

cockcrowfarm Tue 31-Mar-20 09:37:44

Not us either, we have a baby that doesn't sleep well so I go to bed when she does to catch what sleep I can plus we are living with the in-laws just now and I feel a bit awkward to leave granny downstairs with the baby while we sneek off for a quicky. There are many times in my life I would have, but just now can't really be arsed.

cornishdreams1 Tue 31-Mar-20 09:38:32

Erm definitely not, the backdrop of sky news horror, teenagers awake to all hours and being so completely knackered from the stress of it all has killed all desire stone dead (If I had any in the first place)

If I was 21 with a handsome boyfriend on an intimate lockdown, with no shopping slots to book at 3am then maybe....

EmeraldShamrock Tue 31-Mar-20 09:38:42

Not at all. Routine out the window, DP was hoping to last night but I fell asleep with the youngest. smile I wouldn't have another if you paid me a fortune.

MrsJackRackham Tue 31-Mar-20 09:39:38
