SSSandy2 Tue 04-Sep-07 09:33:47

How old is the little girl?

Asking her questions - dunno if you can avoid that. But poking and prodding? What's that about?

LaCod Tue 04-Sep-07 09:34:17

but OVER AND OVER AGAIN
all she wantedt o do is play

nailpolish Tue 04-Sep-07 09:35:14

she needs to tell them "DONT DO THAT IT HURST M Y FEELINGS"

LaCod Tue 04-Sep-07 09:35:44

yes bit god what strenght of character do you have to ahev to do that

SSSandy2 Tue 04-Sep-07 09:36:19

THought she might have been a baby because you said they lifted her hat off and were poking at her etc. No, that's not on. I would never let dd behave like that with anyone, deformity or not. Poor little kid.

LaCod Tue 04-Sep-07 09:36:39

really sad. poor girl

nailpolish Tue 04-Sep-07 09:37:24

yes, she needs t be strong

poor wee lamb

PandaG Tue 04-Sep-07 09:37:48

I would be angry too. Questions, particularly from tinies, seem to be inevitable, but to poke and prod, and lift a hat to get a better look is really rude.

nailpolish Tue 04-Sep-07 09:38:06

where were the parnets ? (of children who were prodding)

lulumama Tue 04-Sep-07 09:39:33

at a young age, she should nto have to say anything herself, the parents of the children poking and prodding should intervene

SSSandy2 Tue 04-Sep-07 09:52:18

so were the parents about then or not?

Can't understand why parents would let their children do that.

madamez Tue 04-Sep-07 10:00:45

Small kids are invariably curious, and usually the curiousity is without malice, so polite questions should probably be answered politely. Poking and prodding is not on, though - stock answer is @don't do that, how would you like it if someone kept coming up and poking you and pulling your clolthes off?'

LaCod Tue 04-Sep-07 10:03:49

yes nort al al relaxing fro foster family

KerryMum Tue 04-Sep-07 10:04:13

yes, where are the parents of prodders? I would stop my children from doing any such thing.

However, children of that age ARE curious. I don't think there is any meanness meant by it. It does have the effect of hurting feelings but don't think it's on purpose.
