I have given some stuff away on freecycle and am waiting for someone to come round and collect. I have to be here so I can show them how it works but I am exhausted and also really need a nap as DD was up all night.
DH is here and ready to give DD her tea and keep her quiet so I can kip but they are 45 minutes late already....

I am so tired I could weep!

If dh is there can't he show them how to work the item?

Although it would have been good if they had turned up on time! Perhaps they don't know the area?

too bad if they are late - let them work out how to do it themselves.

you could leave it outside, or reoffer it - stressing it is available between these times...
I freecycle a fair bit and get really fed up when people say they are coming and don't show...I mean what's the point?

One of the items is a buggy that DH has no clue how to work so I could sod it and go to bed but I know I wouldn't sleep cos Id be waiting to hear the door.
My house isnt hugely easy to find but they have my postcode for an internet map search and my number so it can't be that hard!

I just feel like saying bugger off if they do turn up and giving it to someone else who answered my post.

(If I leave it outside it will just get nicked! Mind you, then it's out of my house....)

over an hour late now...I might just go to bed at the same time as DD and sod spending any time alone with my husband before no.2 arrives....

15 minute rule - if they're more than 15 minutes late sod them. Leave it outside and if someone else gets it first well freecycle has still worked.

right, thats nearly 2 hours. It's going to the next person who mailed me.
Dh reckons it's rude of me to email her and say not to bother coming round anymore but it's free ffs, it's not like she's doing me a favour!
