Really shocked at Maxi Cosi - and now Which?

I posted a while ago about my car seat accident. We were hit at 20mph, our car written off and I sustained a back injury. My garage advised to get the car seats replaced. I saw that Maxi Cosi do a car seat Swap Service. I contacted them and they told me my car seat was safe (I sent photos of car and gave details of speed/direction of the crash). 2 months later my insurance company told me to replace my car seat after any accident. I read the Maxi Cosi manual and it said replace a car seat after an accident. I’m so concerned about the Swap Service advice and very worried about other customers. I believe there is a financial incentive for Maxi Cosi not to replace a seat via the swap service, whereas it should never, ever be about the cost to a company - children need to be travelling in safe seats. I’m totally shocked. Maxi Cosi are refusing to communicate with me over the matter. I’ve contacted Which? - who stated ‘the Maxi Cosi Swap Service May not be perfect’. Surely when it comes to child safety, a service needs to be as perfect as possible. Now Which? Are not answering me emails. Am I going mad? Am I being unreasonable??? I think other people need to complain on my behalf - can anyone help????
