AIBU?

To feel like I've been had?

Has anyone else fallen victim to the atrocities of "Scruff-a-loves" ????

My smallest begged for one for Christmas - being the incredible gullible mum I am, I obliged.
Not just any though, it had to be the one with babies.
"2,3 or 4??"

Obviously 2.

But - once dipped in water and swirled around a bit, it's meant to transform into a glossy haired toy of dreams.

See attached photo. Not really what the box or advert suggested.

£25!!!!!!!

I feel like a prize plonker.

I'd be tempted to throw it in the tumble dryer, or use the hairdryer, then brush its "hair"

I would take it back like that to the shop. No way would they deny a refund.

As I thought, you need to dry and brush them, although when I looked it up online it says they're aware of counterfeits...

Yabu - my daughter has one of these and it's not a case of drop it in water, swirl it round and it's transformed.

You put it in the water, towel dry it, then use a hairdryer and the brush provided to groom it into the "glossy haired toy of dreams".

It's like putting your kid in the bath, dumping water over their head and then leaving them to drip dry instead of brushing/styling their hair and wondering why it's dried into a tangled mess.

It’s the sort of thing my sister and would’ve loved. My sister would’ve loved your soggy bedraggled one MORE because it clearly needed rescuing the most!

Hopefully it’ll improve once it’s dried and groomed!

Grinlooks like something we had left behind at the church Christmas fair.

Have you tried brushing and blow drying it? Confused

She loves the bizarre money sucking fuzz ball.

Idk why.

I believe it's existence is solely to mock me when I make eye contact.

Every time she carries it around I hear the sound of pound coins going down the drain...

It's dry in this photo!!

I hope, giving it another dunk in water will help.

If all else fails, I'll stuff an old sock with rice. Same right?

It looks very much in need of a brush and a blow dry.
