I voted No in the last indyref but tbh if the exit poll is to be believed then fuck it all, I'll say Yes next time.

Agreed

If the exit polls are correct, then it’s coming. I was never a fan of Scottish independence formerly but if it gets us out of this shit show, bring it on.

I'm saying yes this time. Tories are going to sock it to Scotland so we may as well. In for a penny, in for a pound.

My partners from Belfast. He thinks untied Ireland’s on it’s way. I can only hope for Indy Ref.

If so it will leave NI in a really vulnerable position. Calls for a UI will create huge tension here.

Yep, it must now surely. This is such a clear indication just how different Scotland and England are politically.

Today my husband was offered a job in Scotland. Couldn’t have come at a better time if the exit poll is accurate (which I am sure it is). The union will break up and we’ll become Scottish nationals. I remember how much I hoped for a No vote in the indy ref. How things have changed a few years on.

I'm waiting with my birth certificate ready for the passport application. Just get on with it.

A united Ireland is absolutely inevitable now.

I have everything crossed for Scottish Independence. I know a lot of people who voted No previously who are now 100 percent Yes. The results in Scotland will speak volumes tonight.

Indeed. He’s a “prod” (his words not mine) and I quote “catholic’s have bred enough voters to push it through”

However, there’s the other minor issue of your missing government. I do feel for you over there, stakes are so much higher. I wish peace and understanding to you from us in Scotland.

Yep. Fiancé and l were discussing this about half an hour ago. It does seem inevitable. Fair enough, wish l could break free!

I posted a thread a while ago thinking that BJ/Dominic Cummings actually WANT the break up of the UK. I couldn't think of any downsides of this for the Tories.

I agree. When we look at the map tomorrow morning it’s clear it’s a different country here.

I voted no for independence perviously, I’m 100% yes now.

@NeverDropYourMoonCup I’m very thankful of my Irish grandparents!

It certainly seems much more likely. Only a matter of time until another Scottish referendum. NI will be in all sorts of trouble.

I said no to Scottish independence kast time. I'm now a firm yes.

A thousand times yes to Scottish independence.

I just cannot understand the mindset of a country who voted Tory.

I'm for self determination.
