What's your ultimate 'comforting hug' film?

I've got a mild hangover after Christmas drinks last night, DH has his works Christmas do tonight and I cannot wait just to snuggle on the sofa in my PJ's with a pizza once DS is in bed.

I want to watch an old familiar film which I've seen before, which I don't have to concentrate on and which will sooth my achy post hangover body.

What is your top re-watch film for situations like this? My brain is too frazzled to think!!

Yes, Clueless is good. I’m weirdly fond of The Holiday starring Kate W and Cameron D tho I know it’s a pile of old cobblers.

Maybe not soothing but I watched Thelma and Louise when last hungover and it was perfect. A good watch but not overly taxing on the brain.

Practical Magic - I just love the atmosphere of the movie, the great looks of the sisters and the gorgeous house they live in!

Under the Tuscan sun - Italy is God’s own country IMO and this movie is a celebration of and an ode to la dolce vita. And it’s lovely to see how an unhappy divorced lady finds herself back after a hard time (something I certainly can relate to from my own experience in life).

Un long dimanche de fiancailles - probably my most favourite movie ever. A heartbreakingly beautiful story, it has me in tears nearly every time I see it. It’s such a reminder to never give up hope and to keep believing when everyone says there is no hope.

I have been poorly all week and last night I watched "about a boy". It really cheered me up and made me feel all warm and snuggly.
