Had mine a couple of days ago, feeling pretty awful today. I'm pretty sure it's just side effects so hopefully won't last too long, but I'm just wondering if it's been kicking people's butts particularly hard this year? (The flu jab, I mean, not the flu itself.)

I didn't have any side effects at all

noeyedeer Mon 02-Dec-19 20:23:40

I've noticed nothing but a slightly sore arm. DSs had nasal spray, and both been on top form, despite getting the sniffles in previous years. DH has had neither and has an absolutely horrid cold at the moment, sinuses, headaches, aches etc

NannyR Mon 02-Dec-19 20:24:06

I had mine in Sept and didn't have any side effects other than a sore arm.

Nope, none of us at work had any side effects at all. There are some nasty viruses doing the rounds though.

LagunaBubbles Mon 02-Dec-19 20:25:07

I've gave 50 do far at work and haven't heard anything much apart from a few sore arms.

TinkersBell Mon 02-Dec-19 20:25:10

I was absolutely fine other than a bit of a tender arm.

Crunchymum Mon 02-Dec-19 20:25:26

Flu jab isn't a live vaccine.

Whatever you have you either a) already picked up or b) is a strain of flu that isnt being vaccinated against this time

dementedpixie Mon 02-Dec-19 20:25:34

Dh had no side effects

MolyHolyGuacamole Mon 02-Dec-19 20:26:31

Had mine end of September, no issues whatsoever

XXMansplainShieldActive Mon 02-Dec-19 20:27:05

No side effects this year for us and in fact the only year I had any was when I was pregnant so could you be OP?

Jollitwiglet Mon 02-Dec-19 20:27:56

I had no side effects this year either other than a sore arm

Solitaryradiator Mon 02-Dec-19 20:28:32

No side effects

AnotherDFSsale Mon 02-Dec-19 20:28:33

Not a live vaccine from what I remember being told? Only the nasal are live is that right?

chipsandpeas Mon 02-Dec-19 20:28:36

i had mine about 3 weeks ago and no side effects

CAG12 Mon 02-Dec-19 20:28:46

Nope. Nor any of my colleagues. As PP said, it isnt a live vaccine so anything you've got will have just coincided with you getting the vaccine

Pipandmum Mon 02-Dec-19 20:28:51

Fine for me too.

Wintersnowdrop Mon 02-Dec-19 20:29:29

No side effects here for me or my teens .

SimonJT Mon 02-Dec-19 20:29:44

No side effects apart from a sore arm, it’s not a live vaccine.

yikesanotherbooboo Mon 02-Dec-19 20:29:45

What Crunchymum said.

BabbleBee Mon 02-Dec-19 20:29:47

No side effects for me or my colleagues either.

RhymingRabbit3 Mon 02-Dec-19 20:29:48

Probably not a side effect, you're probably just ill. A friend of mine came down with flu a few days after having the jab, she was just unfortunate and had already contracted the virus before having the jab.

OceanVillage Mon 02-Dec-19 20:30:14

Had mine in October and no side effects.

bringincrazyback Mon 02-Dec-19 20:30:15

Definitely not pregnant @XXMansplainShieldActive but starting to wonder if I'm coming down with something unrelated to flu jab! confused

DippyAvocado Mon 02-Dec-19 20:30:20

I was fine but both my DC were unwell afterwards which hasn't happened before. I did wonder if it was related.
