Ladies, help me. I'm mid 40s and the bastard chins hairs keep on coming. I keep plucking them out, but am I going to have a beard by the time I'm 50? Nasty course black thick hairs. Do I need to go and see my GP? ARGH!?!?!

Watching with interest as I sadly have the same problem (similar age).

Strugglingmum73 Mon 18-Nov-19 22:54:33

I feel your pain

Majorcollywobble Mon 18-Nov-19 22:55:34

They get better over time . They turn silver .

GothMummy Mon 18-Nov-19 22:55:49

I am plucking too sad

Merryoldgoat Mon 18-Nov-19 22:56:10

I pluck the fuckers out daily

I have blonde ones so I either have them threaded at the same time as I do my eyebrows or wax them myself at home.

If you have pale skin and dark hairs though I think things like Lumea are supposed to be good as a more permanent solution.

I’m part of the club. I pluck multiple hairs daily. I’m planning on getting the lumia thingymebob as a Christmas present to myself.

Yup one great advantage of going grey is that your moustache becomes a bit less glaringly apparent. HTH.

I feel your pain.

Mine appeared during my first pregnancy when I was 35 which I assumed was triggered by hormonal changes.

I hate them. They’re black and coarse.

Same problem. Tried a lot of electrolysis about ten years ago. Helped a bit with the worst ones, but I probably still tweezer our about 20 chin hairs a night. I can now do it while reading my kindle in bed at night.

If they're black hairs then you can have them treated with laser/IPL. Mine are (mostly) white though, so can't do anything other than pluck.

HairyFloppins Mon 18-Nov-19 22:57:57

I've had them for years and I'm in my thirties!

I quite enjoy plucking them with my tweezermans.

Doryhunky Mon 18-Nov-19 22:58:27

They also seem to sprout overnight and grow
Very fast

Dora26 Mon 18-Nov-19 22:58:45

Boots wax strips for me - mine are red-blonde so Lumea wouldnt work. The strips are simple to use

Sewrainbow Mon 18-Nov-19 22:59:40

Same here sadly, just been dealing with mine, I'll soon have a moustache, beard and chest hair! sad

They're getting worse, I think it must be as a result of hysterectomy and HRT

Galaxygirl93 Mon 18-Nov-19 23:00:28

At least you are mid 40s! I am 25 and have them! Tweezers/waxing does the job

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve Mon 18-Nov-19 23:01:31

I wax mine op. Fuckers. flowers

FenellaVelour Mon 18-Nov-19 23:03:56

Every day I’m at mine. I’ve currently got a big scab on my chin from getting too enthusiastic with the tweezers and pinching my skin. It’s so attractive.

Sewbean Mon 18-Nov-19 23:05:49

I found one at work today, couldn't stop fiddling with it all day but couldn't grasp it tightly enough with my fingers to pull it out. I'm going to need to keep tweezers in my handbag now for ever.

Iwantacookie Mon 18-Nov-19 23:07:21

Mid 30s here and often felt like running away to join the circus due to my chin pubes.
Why do they sprout 6 foot over the space of an hour? Honestly I never had an abnormally long head hair so why on my chin? confused

MarianaMoatedGrange Mon 18-Nov-19 23:07:41

I quite enjoy plucking mine. Black ones, white ones that take a lot of tugging. The worst are the stealth ones that appear like magic - 2 feet long - that you only notice when you've out of the house for hours. Bastards.

Phycadelicsilhouette Mon 18-Nov-19 23:07:44

I have the same issue... I’m 31! 😂
Also have to keep on top of my moustache and I’m pretty certain my nipples are getting hairier too 😫

whogoncheckmeBoo Mon 18-Nov-19 23:07:45

I have been having laser hair removal. Not tired face yet but very impressed so far. I am having ‘cool laser’ so it doesn’t even hurt. It works especially well on areas with fairer skin and darker hair

*tried blush
