I am 61 to put this post in context. The father of one of my best friends picked up 2 female hitch-hikers in the early to mid 1970s. He travelled a lot for work and had 3 daughters and a son himself. He was in the process of dropping them off, at the agreed place, when they started to threaten him. If he didn't take them to their destination, they would say he "abused" them. He stopped at the agreed place and told them to get out of his car. My question: YABU = he was being unreasonable YANBU = they were threatening him Remember this was in the 70s, no social media or smartphones
