AIBU?

To think Jeremy Corbyn has finally lost the plot, if he thinks Westminster should vote for him to be Prime Minister?

Temporarily for now. (So he says!) So he can call a general election and get the Tories out, and get Labour in (so he can have the job permanently!) And maybe even derail Brexit. Even though he has been very anti-EU all his political life (40-odd years!) he seems to have fallen in love with the EU this past year or two! Wink

Personally, I actually laughed out loud when I saw the news this morning, and saw that he wants Westminster to vote him in as Prime Minister. The man is so deluded, and off the planet, that I'm not sure he should be leaving the house, or holding a hot kettle, or in charge of sharp objects, let alone running the fecking country! Confused

YABU if you disagree with me.

YANBU if you AGREE with me.

You probably already know that.

I'll get me coat....... Grin

I’m embarrassed for him.

I laughed ou loud too. Anyone who belueves in him needs some serious psychological help hes been a staunch Leaver hus whole politucal career either thats been fake or this is. Are Remainers that desperate that they will believe this? Once in he'll fudge a deal then take us out. Boris on the other hand will pretend hes taking us out and then take us back in/keep us in.

Yes he’s leader of the opposition, however he’s a waste of space and should have stepped down years ago.

I and many others see him as a joke.

Oh I don’t know - I don’t think dear old Bozza has a thought in his dizzy head, so assume the cabinet are making the grown up decisions. Jeremy is only concerned with the magic of Jeremy and doesn’t seem to listen.

@Chitarra

Better than Boris.

He's really not. Confused They are both equally as bad, for different reasons...

Anyone seriously considering helping that man into power really needs to do a little research.

Terrifying.

Better than Boris

I'm not a fan of Johnson but if there was anyone I thought it would be worse to have in charge than him it would be Corbyn.

I'm not a fan of Corbyn but Boris has literally no morals.

I don’t suspect Corbyn does either. I also have the idea that he is very obstinate and don’t like his track record on anti seminism and woman’s issues.

He wants to form a temporary government, not implement labour party policy.
It won't work, as he will fail to get support, but something needs to be done to halt this absolute shit show that is a no deal Brexit.
Boris Johnson, pushed along by that absolute cunt Cummings is leading us all off a cliff. It's unbelievable what is happening to this country.

Who does Corbyn think he is? Deluded little man!
I'm no fan of Boris but to replace him with Corbyn??? Seriously!!! 🙄

There's not a chance that the Torys or Lib Dems would vote for Corbyn. Probably half of his own party won't either.

GE coming up I think. Problem is who do we vote for? Not much choice is there Confused

Much as I absolutely detest Corbyn, this is a plan to foil No-Deal that actually makes sense. Corbyn as caretaker PM wouldn’t be able to do anything apart from the stated plan to ask for an extension to Article 50 and call a General Election. He’s not going to suddenly be able to implement Labour policies because the MPs wouldn’t vote for them.

It’s a shame it’s Corbyn as Labour leader because there would have to be an awful lot of nose-holding to give him the confidence of parliament to do this. But as Leader of the Opposition he’s the most obvious choice.

Report

Exactly! @TwoPupsandaHamster

A general election may be coming up soon, and it's terrifying, because the Tories will get back in AGAIN.

Most sensible, logical people will not vote for Labour with Corbyn at the helm. He is the worst leader EVER. and he has wrecked the Labour party.

I don't know how he can look at himself in the mirror tbh. Knowing his party is fucked because of him. And it is HIM keeping the Tories in. Hmm

I'd accept Alan Partridge as prime minister if it meant getting the Tories to fuck off and cancelling the whole Brexit shitshow. The prospect of being dragged into a no-deal Brexit is terrifying.
