Going out to buy a test later today when the shops open.
Have been feeling sick for 3 days, only just come off period, though.
Stomach is swollen.
I don't think I have a stomach bug as have the same feeling for 3 days now.
Any suggestions please...

It doesn't sound likely if you've only just finished your period. When exactly did it finish?

If you've just had a period its unlikely

If you are a menstruating woman who has had sex at some point in the last 9 months then yes, yes you could be pregnant.

Was it a normal period? Are you ttc? Doesn’t sound likely if you’ve had a period but you never know I guess.

@nosauce
Yes ttc. I've just been feeling so off past couple of days. But the period threw me too. Nearest shop that sells tests are a few miles away and dh has the car so will be cycling in. Just a bit excited and nervous but trying not to get my hopes up!

If you have had sex, then yes you could be pregnant. Sex ed 101.

FFS as if any randoms could actually tell you. Why do people post shit like this?

if you just finished your period, then this is very unlikely. you wouldn't have ovulated in this cycle and even if, it is far to early for symptoms.

It’s highly unlikely unless your period was more like implantation bleeding than an actual period. Some women do continue having period style bleeds every month during pregnancy but it’s usually to do with a contraceptive such as the pill.

Suggest you stop panicking and do a test like an adult? The number of bizarre teenage ‘could I be pregnant’ threads on here from grown adults is astounding.

@zzzzzzzz12345 I'm not panicking, I'm excited. Will be off to buy a test shortly as explained in previous post Grin

How would any of us know?.

I don’t get these threads at all.

These could I be pregnant threads are getting daft on here
Why would you ask random son the Internet
Have you had unprotected sex?
If yes then you might be
If no then you might be
And after the "pissed on a gazillion sticks and then miraculously I'm having twins" troll earlier this week forgive me taking all of these threads with a ton of salt

It’s always twins isn’t it? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thursday as in this past Thursday? Then you've not even ovulated yet so highly unlikely and even if you were a test wouldn't pick it up this early.

Unless it wasn't a usual period of course

Nope, you could try this month though, I'd save the pregnancy test.

I know people say they had periods when pregnant, but I don't think it's that common and probably not days long periods, but a bit of bleeding.

@shoulderstoesandknees and @ChipsAreLife thank you.

I'm going to buy two sticks and save the other for later in the month. We've been ttc for 2 years. I have just felt so odd past couple of days. Things felt different!
