Babe, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I know it's not important in the grand scheme of things, but seriously...

RosemarysBush Fri 12-Apr-19 14:03:05

No. I’d be amused.

AnguaUberwaldIronfoundersson Fri 12-Apr-19 14:03:20

I get it. I had a flyer through from another clothing company that addressed me as Babe. It just made me cringe. I’m 36 FFS.

PutyourtoponTrevor Fri 12-Apr-19 14:03:37

It a bit bleurghhhhh but it doesn't offend me

beelover Fri 12-Apr-19 14:05:46

I am nearly 63, I would love someone to address me as babe grin

PositiveVibez Fri 12-Apr-19 14:05:53

Cringey in the 'hun' kind of way, but not offensive

crosser62 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:06:11

No I wouldn’t be offended at all but then people can get offended by a crumb on a shit these days.

Kel801 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:07:07

Not at all. Maybe it’s a bit cringy (is that a word) but hardly feels worth being offended over.

Bluntness100 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:08:23

No this wouldn't offend me.

Listen, there's a woman on another thread who has her arse in her hands because thr school gave her kid an Easter egg. Why not hook up with her and the two of you can sit and happily find random innocuous shit to be offended by together?

outpinked Fri 12-Apr-19 14:09:02

Nah, I don’t adhere to the offended culture. They’re using it in the same way some people use hun, it’s really not offensive.

Redglitter Fri 12-Apr-19 14:09:28

Nope not in the least offended. Sometimes I think people look at ways to be offended

Kel801 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:10:08

@Bluntness100 I just laughed so hard a bit of food fly out my nose

Kel801 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:10:35

** flew

Aquamarine1029 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:11:14

Why would that offend anyone? It's stupid, but to go so far as saying you're offended is way over the top.

pepsirolla Fri 12-Apr-19 14:12:14

Not offended but just hmm bit of an assumption. Do men never order from them or would theirs be addressed mate?
Reminds me of how so many food items address me as their friend too.... "Shake me before you drink me.. I'm yummy...or best before your friends nick me!" confused

Strugglingtodomybest Fri 12-Apr-19 14:13:03

As others had said, it's cringey but not offensive.

sweeneytoddsrazor Fri 12-Apr-19 14:14:38

You win comment of the month for that grin

NoSauce Fri 12-Apr-19 14:15:24

People take offence to bloody everything these days. It must be exhausting for them.

It’s naff for sure but it doesn’t offend me.

notacooldad Fri 12-Apr-19 14:17:00

Would I be heck be offended.
Misguided is a brand that is generally for a young female demographic. It's how many of that group address each other.
It's just being on the same 'wavelrngth' as their target consumers.
I seriously havent got a problem and save my angst for important issues.

BarrenFieldofFucks Fri 12-Apr-19 14:17:14

Not offended, but cringe.

SrSteveOskowski Fri 12-Apr-19 14:19:08

No. I only get offended over things that are actually worth getting offended over hmm

MinisterforCheekyFuckery Fri 12-Apr-19 14:21:10

Racism offends me. Jacob Rees-Mogg offends me. This is nothing.

Bluntness100 Fri 12-Apr-19 14:24:05

Why thank you both, the world has clearly gone mad today 🤣

LillithsFamiliar Fri 12-Apr-19 14:25:56

Not offended. I'd think I might not be their target audience though grin
