I've been so ill since Friday. Not actual tonsilitis or flu but every part of me hurts, really sore throat, banging head, cough, no sleep, diahorrea etc.
I've been training to run Brighton 10k this weekend. I booked it after watching the marathon there the last 2 years, I just loved the atmosphere etc and whilst I was certain I wouldn't be able to run a marathon, I've now got myself to about a 1hr 9 10k - which I wanted to aim for sub 1hr in Brighton.
Thing is - this illness has completely floored me - I can not see how I'll be totally recovered by Sunday, I pray I'm feeling better but putting one foot in front of the other is hard at the moment.
Anyway - if I was feeling ok, do you think you're allowed to walk it? That's my aibu - do people walk these things? Tbf at the moment I can't walk to the toilet without crying so I'm not sure I'll be recovered at all, even to do that but I can hope.
Worst case I go be ill in a hotel room for the weekend I guess - or anyone got any tips for miraculous recovery?
